Surf Lodge South Africa

We (couple) had a great expereince at the lodge! Stunning view from the suite! Very comfy and excellent room, overall great service and suave manner. Breakfast and Braai were great, too. Lodge is offering lots of possibilities to explore the area and, of course, local surf hubs. Managers and staff are very helpful to ensure the stay is going to be awesome.Would definetly come back and can strongly recommend staying here!

The whole team, the lodge and the surroundings were perfect. On arrival my suitcase was not brought and I had to wait a day for it. Adrian had picked me up in the evening and drove another extra two hours to the airport the next day to pick up my suitcase there! From this you can see how much the team cares that everyone is doing well. Thank you for that and for the whole vacation with you! I will definitely love to come back.

We were supposed to stay in the poolside apartment/room for 5 nights.This room was however very musty and smelled like my grandmas basement. Two air refresheners that were already in the room didn't manage to hide the smell... Also, you had the feeling the people who are in the room above you would come crushing down at any second. Luckily we were able to change the room. Try to avoid this one. In general: Don't expect this place to look anything like the pictures. It has not been renovated in years and many things need urgent attention. E.g. half of the door handles don't work properly... Easy things to fix really.BUT: The staff did an amazing job! The breakfast was always on point and the braai was on another level. The volunteer Clara really killed it! We felt at home the whole time. The people care for your experience and really make an effort. It kinda felt like you were staying at a friends place. Also, the cooperation with the surf school works really smoothly. Lastly, the deals they offer are quite good.All in all I would probably stay there again. But still: Give the lodge some attention ;)

I stayed at the lodge for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience!! The lodge is beautiful, cozy and clean and the people working there are sweet and helpful. The lodge has a path that goes directly to the beach, and I went there almost every morning with the dogs that live at the lodge to watch the sunrise. Breakfast in the morning was great and all the activities that the lodge provides or takes you to are so amazing!Can’t wait to go back some day!!

I simply loved my time at Surf Lodge since the first minute there. The whole experience from the location & venue to the team and unique activities provided were above all my expectations. Thx for everything guys, it's epic and I will definitely come back! :)

Very nice place with super friendly staff! One point for improvement is the shower. Bit dirty and old. Bit far from the city center and unfortunately you need to go there to surf, but there is transport arranged if you don’t have a car!

It’s definitely an amazing place to spend your time to.The lodge is awesome, the vibes are great, surf lessons are perfect and the people were so lovely.I got so many memories that I’ll always care with. It’s definitely not a goodby but a see you soon.To the next time

I had an absolut blast at this beautiful accomodation. Staff was extremely helpful and always happy to help. The views and rooms were perfect and I would highly recommend to stay here!!

We loved our stay here. It was quiet and close to where we needed to go each day. The room has a fridge, stove and kettle. There was also access to a kitchen in the main house for anything else we needed. The room was very spacious and we felt very comfortable and safe. The area is beautiful with stunning views of the sea. Would definitely book here again. Thank you
