When I was there at 8am this morning they said they were closed due to loadshedding. Then I came around at 4pm and they were closed. They suppose to close at 4:30pm. And they wonder why this SOE is not doing well.

Well, it's a government-run operation so you know how it goes. The system could be offline, there could be load shedding, or their printer could not be working so you may need to go to the party shop around the corner for a photocopy (and they do photocopies for R2). The post office has a card machine and they do License disc renewals at least. I didn't wait in a major queue but we might have just timed it right. 1 person accepting and sorting the form, the other making the payments. Make sure to bring your own photocopy to avoid wasting time (just in case their printer isn't working).

If renewing car licence you need to be there early. Only 2 staff members helping at the front counter. One does the licence and the other receives the payment so there is a waiting time

The usual-friendly but really becoming obsolete except for the Licence docs which is really handy. This one is never busy so always a good stop.

Best post office ever. Friendly staff and very patient. I was having some problems with Sassa card mixed with some fraud cases, they patiently listened to my story and helped me without hesitation. Mind you I hv been to 2 post offices already where the staff was so rude and did not even wanna hear me out. My matter is resolved now and I am a happy customer. Keep it up guys.
