Having some rain. The dam level is still quite low. Accomodation is generous and clean although slightly dated

We had an amazing time. There place is very accomodative,ohw my God the swimming pool the grass,trees everything was on point. We had meggar fun. Thank u a lot.

Clean facilities and quite neighborhood. Just had a confrontation with a very angry Scorpion in our room and a fairly large Spider that hitched a ride back home. So take care and be vigilant of the indigenous wildlife when visiting the area.

Very well maintained unit. It was clean and everything was in working order. We were warmly greeted by the owners and made aware of all the necessities of the unit. We were only staying one night as we were traveling between provinces, but the owner still offered to take us around and show us around the area as well as where to eat.There is a solar geyser, so plan your bath/shower as you might have to wait for the sun to heat your water for the next shower/bath.The kitchen has a fridge with small freezer as well as bar fridge, it also has a microwave and small counter top oven. Overall warm stay for a one nighter.

This place is not as the pictures, the actual accommodation is not even near as the pictures.We are a group travelers on the way to Plettenberg bay, stopped over night at Gariep Gardens, the entire house is very dirty, 4 bedrooms dry walling house only got 1 bathroom, the hand towel in the bathroom is so dirty, the bedding are very dirty, you can actually smell sweating.My 5 years old daughter refuse to sleep on those beds.I think the owner has lied on us.We couldn't rest on those beds, eventually we took our own bedding which for our using at our holiday house.And the price we paid not even cheap.And most upsetting us is: THERE IS NO HOT WATER, EVEN COLD WATER SHOWER DOES NOT COME OUT SMOOTHLY.We will never gone back there, and warn others with this review.I hope the owner got this review and stop lying to the guests.ChaneyFamilies and friends.

The place is Good and clean service from Johan and his wife is excellent

Firstly. That massive pool on the pictures....I never saw it.....its not bad if you want to stay over. For a night. Personally for me. I like resorts like forever resorts but for a one night sleep it was good.

The service for just booking is excellent, Karen is prompt with replying by email called to confirmed that everything is in order. thanks Karen you are a star.will complete the review after the stay.Awesome 3 night stay very clean everything you need is there, available and working. friendly welcome from Johan and to check that everything was good to go. we will be going back and stay for longer

Not clean, photos misleading comparing to what you get. Paid R6500 for 3 nights 5 adults and 4 kids. For that you expect that your prepaid meter do not run out. Johan never available while staying over. Had to top up electricity out of my own account, as Johan not available since after we arrived till we left. Not answering phone at all. No mop, no egg lifter, and dirty. The area and little town nice and alot to do from fishing, boat riding on Gariep Dam etc. I'll in future just stay over at the many other places available in the area.

Very clean and I will visit it again . Staff is very friendly and taljs in my own language .
