Pick n Pay Hyde Park Centre

Absolutely the worse Pick n Pay when it comes to hot foods. It's disgusting what you get served there. Person will get food poisoning. Sort it out guys!!!

Refurbishment or not, this store is still pretty bad, especially considering its location. Poor quality fresh" produce and such depressing service. Please put more pride in customer experience and less time taking pictures of shelves."

What an enormous disappointment..!! Many years ago I lived in Hyde Park and loved the pick N pay, in H. Park although it was TIRED.When I started a work assignment in the Centre 3 weeks ago,I was so excited to see the face lift in progress on what promised to be a beautiful new pick n pay.. How wrong I was..! Miserable staff who are so busy with their conversations they failed to assist me on 2 separate occasions today.I popped by later in the afternoon to buy the Lamb special.. Which I have bought at Pic n pay morninglen, (as I was thrilled the at the special was beautiful prepared and good value..)I am disgusted and have to say the absolute disgrace I was sold as the Lamb special is an embarrassment to this store.. I have photographed this excuse of a 'specia' badly butchered and poorly constructed. l tried calling the store with no answer.. You can refurbish a store all you like but if you can't serve your customers with some kind of I interest and genuine help then don't bother.. And if your specials. Are fit for a bin then they are not specials.. You will not see me again.

If I could give this place half a star I would. So unwelcoming, so unfriendly. By far the worst pick n pay in Johannesburg.

I should actually give it a zero because of the level of service. We bought Dolce vita ice creams that were vegan and did not like them only to find that one of the cups had expired. We went back because I was feeling unwell and demanded that we are assisted. At the time we were asked why did we even buy those ice creams by who I believe was the floor manager.On top of that at the money market when we tried to withdraw R5 000 we were told they are not allowed to withdraw so much money at at time, moreover we were told that there is no money in the shop to withdraw that much money.So much attitude from the cashiers and managers. Very disgusted

Very poor service the staff is very unfriendly, cooked food is unbelievably a waste of money. The management should make some adjustments on cashiers and those dishing out food considering this is Hidepark coner

Update yr times on yr social media pages...!!!!!! Pnp now opens at 9am but all yr online pages say 8am..v frustrating

Store is bright, well laid out and welcoming. The staff are all over the place-inconsistency all round. The labels are wrong and when asked for prices and items they can’t seem to find anything of even know what’s going on. Typically has very few tellers open, and when asked for a carton, disappeared downstairs for one. Didn’t have, so tried to charge extra for individual boxes. While the teller was gone, gentleman in the queue blatantly ate pie, took some chocolates and walked out without paying-theft right in front of everyone. No action taken.
