Loved getting away for the weekend. Beautiful rooms. Great service from the staff, my daughter loved the animals. The food was great and the coffee! Sitting around the fireplace and having a glass of rose' during loadshedding was so calming and relaxing. Got a flat tyre on the day of leaving and they assisted me without even asking! What a wonderful stay myself and my family had! Definitely going back again. Thanks to all the staff, Stephan, his wife and Daniel!

I loved every moment of my stay there. It is home away from home. Stephan and his staff are amazingly kind. Loved the hospitality and the nice food. Big-ups to Emmanuel and the chef too. God bless you!!! We shall come again!!

This is a very unusual place to stay. You really do need to like animals to enjoy it. There is a great variety too. The emu, peacock and turkey all roam freely. And there are three lovely pet dogs too. You can hand feed the antelope and the emu. The rooms we had were good value but were in need of updating ( there are other newer chalet style rooms which look nice ). The food was again reasonably priced but nothing special. And unusually for S.A. where there is an abundance of fantastic wines there is only one choice at dinner. The owner has lots of plans so watch this space. We certainly enjoyed our brief stay.

This place is a hidden gem. The gardens are beautiful, the food is good, the rooms are well kept and the service is amazing. All the staff are wonderful and made me feel special but I must make mention of Ernest. Ernest went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, with a constant smile. Thanks to everybody for a lovely stay. I'll be back with some of my peeps.

Quiet and pristine surroundings. It's a bit of drive on a dirt road to get here, but nothing a family car can't muster. I was pleasantly surprised to find our car washed before our departure. The owner is a people's person and will make you feel right at home.
