Biddulphs International - Johannesburg

We took 12 hours to pack and they supported me all the way. I still had some loose stuff, and they helped with the extra packing, that was very helpful. It took another 8 hours to unpack between two places, 70km apart, and they were there all the way. The destination was 340km away and they made it easy and manageable, thanks.

With less than a week before Biddulphs was supposed to pack and move in SA for me, they phoned numerous times to try to change the dates of pick-up and drop-off. No! People plan accommodation, house cleaning etc around the dates of a move! I paid the full price of my move more than 2 months before pick-up. In the week before pick-up, I was contacted twice by people asking me to please pay! Late on the afternoon of pick-up, I was informed that the truck they brought was too small. Another truck was brought for the rest of my property the next morning. On my way to my new address, Biddulphs phoned to ask if they could drop off a day later. No! Delivery was supposed to happen at around 10h00. They arrived just after 15h00 - which meant I could not spend that night in my new house. Extra expense! Then the fun really started. Biddulphs damaged so much of my property. They pulled apart a desk, damaged a wine rack, old suitcases, broke numerous pieces of crockery, broke off the key of a cupboard in the lock and thought I wouldn't notice. Etc, etc. A number of cardboard boxes were stained with oil. And just to sweeten the whole experience: I was left with a spade covered in yellow paint - which isn't mine! I get the impression little effort was made to contact the people who shared the inter-link truck with me, to ask if they're maybe missing a spade. Biddulphs have subsequently phoned me twice and indicated in an e-mail they have contacted the people who shared the truck with me, to try and find the owner of the spare spade. Biddulphs have also undertaken to compensate me for the extra night's accommodation in a hotel.

I was very impressed with the outstanding service from Biddulphs. We moved from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth, and Biddulphs handled the move so professionally. I was quoted one price when they came to do the job inventory list then When the quote comes it’s double the price. Creating a false expectation is not on. Rather just say upfront to not waste anyone’s time

Biddulphs recently helped my mom move from our long term home after my dad passed, she was under a lot of stress at the time, Biddulphs came in, packed everything beautifully, moved everything, and the team is so so friendly and efficient. The inclusion on their team is unparalleled, the whole team including the deaf members really made me smile, really went above and beyond me and my moms expectations. Would definitely recommend.

I recently relocated from KZN to Johanesburg and we regret using Biddulphs International.We took out insurance for our goods and they are a fsp but did not explain.We insured our goods for higher amount but we were told to adjust it to a lower amount which was quoted.Their staff damaged several items and staff are unprofessional,staff member requested to use the toilet and urinated all over the seat and laughed,their staff member carries furniture in the rain with slippers,Staff wear environserve uniform.They did not collect my dog kennel and bird cage which I paid for and also insured,they now don't want to assist and pass the buck to the insurance, their staff member loaded shelves which they damaged and now their insurer confirms theu won't pay as the items was not on the inventory,they damaged my plastic storage containers and don't want to pay as the items were not noted in the inventory,but they damaged it.They damaged my stairway scrapping items on the stairway,their ceo is very quite and does not want to communicate,please do yourself a favor and stay away from Biddulphs International poor pathetic service!

Biddulphs assisted me with relocating to the Netherlands. From start till end they were extremely professional, friendly and patient as they understand that the move is very stressful. They worked efficiently, even with the shortage of containers, and I received my goods in perfect condition. They are affordable when compared to other companies. I would highly recommend them just based on the staff and kind assistance. Additionally, the company they used in the Netherlands (Gerson Relocation) were just as helpful and patient. The relocation of my goods was the easiest task I had to do throughout the entire process of immigrating.

Wow, what amazing service we received from Biddulphs. Their team that packs for International moves is just great. They were friendly, always clean, and very helpful. The way the wrap and pack our goods makes you feel comfortable to know your goods are safe. The quality of the packing material is also top class. The guy cut the wood to box your TV's separately to make sure it is safe. Well done to Norman and his team.
