We had a bad experience with this location, we were deprived access, the manager leteraly avoided us and we were promised access while we waited in the rain. Honestly the service was unthinkably POOR and we had to look for another place. I would not encourage any body to go to this place.

Very nice rooms and location.The service was absolutely shocking. The place needs a proper manager to oversee the day to day operations. If they don't do touch ups and look after the place its going to look run down, though, very soon. The experience could be a lit better, and the owners need to look into this if they want to keep this place running.They said they had two pools which made our decision to book this place but one pool was empty and the other pool was a disgusting snot green in colour. The poor kids sulked the whole long weekend. Nobody alerted us beforehand that the pools arw not working. The one section of rooms never got reception for the wifi. The food was mediocre at best. Eggs Benedict was a joke. Don't ever order that there... ever! We left to go out in the day, and when we came back, they swapped one of our kids' beds for a broken one. Like? We still don't know why. My neice got on the bed and could have gotten seriously hurt... So basically you are paying a lot of money for a nice clean room.

We had a great experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the rooms were beautiful. We will definitely be returning!

Room did not meet 4 star expectations at all and feel ripped off. I have traveled extensively throughout South Africa and abroad and have experienced much better in 3 star.Shower arm was broken. Water leaking. Shower head dirty and spraying everywhere. Walls and roof filthy. Filthy rubbers on shower. Handles missing from cupboards. Back up power lasted halfway when load shedding.Staff support on site was good but Bathroom was in a terrible stateWhen I mentioned all this on whatsapp to the booking person, they told me that they I already paid a last minute discount so there will be no compensation and that I should go ahead with my review and that there would be legal action if the information I post was misleading. Putrid service and highly dissatisfied customer. Would not recommend at all.

Had such a horrible experience ever! From cold showers, cold breakfast, no microwave, poor electricity backup, poor TV connection, 8pm telephone calls for next day breakfast cofirmations to poor service management in general.Attempts to talking to the manager about these were met with so much hostility and defense. No wonder there's no improvement on all the above mentioned issues as also reviewed by many before my time there.I am definitely not coming back and would not recommend it to anyone.

The place is very beautiful but the service is lacking a bit. I think their staff has to undergo customer service training. The place is more like a commune, the other guests had music very loud in the lounge until after 10pm, it was just unpleasant
