Hoëveld House

Well what can I say Andrew and the team were amazing,The place is a oasis of tranquility (be aware of this if that is not your thing but we loved it) the gardens are beautiful, the rooms stunning, it was like a place out of magazine one of those rare occasions where the photos stunning as they are don't actually do the place justice.What ease can I say, oh yes, I remember we liked it so much we stayed there twice and would definitely stay there again :)Top tip always worth checking directly with the team to see if there are any offers on the price if you book direct :))Big thanks to Andrew and the team from Sam and John

Truly stunning! We were greeted by a very welcoming host. The room was beyond expectations, felt like we were transported into a old England house. Really amazing. Thoroughly impressed and we'll definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Poor. Rooms dirty and probably haven't been vacuumed in ages. Service is shoddy. Sat in an empty dining room for 15 min and never offered a thing, then told to move tables because the table had been booked. Seriously?! Breakfast was limited at best eggs, bacon maybe a choice of ONE type of bread, no confectionery of any kind, old fruit, empty orange juice bottle and a random yoghurt. For R2000 plus a night???.....if this is how a 'five' star establishment is rated I would rather rent a caravan.

Wonderful stay at Hoeveld House. Close proximity to Hyde Park but also between Sandton & Rosebank you couldn’t ask for more. Manager went out of his way to facilitate our stay even with half our group having to cancel last minute. Arranging afternoon tea with scones so we could catch up with a friend was a lovely touch. Beautiful rooms, lovely decor throughout & beautiful garden & pool. Our stay was too short but will definitely aim to get back.

The house is lovely and it is close to the sandton shopping mall

A beautiful old house surrounded by a wonderful garden with some really old and big trees. Every detail in the house and rooms is special and you can easily spend an hour just walking around and taking photos. We stayed two nights only but I will definitely be back again.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place if you want peace and tranquility. Manned security and car parking was very good. Thank you.

The room was lovely. The shower was huge. Staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious. The price was reasonable.

Hoeveld House was absolutely outstanding in every way. Every single staff member was professional, warm and welcoming. My room was really nice, spacious with a great bathroom. A well stocked bathroom was complimentary and a nice touch was the illuminated mirrors. Every wall, every little article in this house is a piece of art. I regret not staying here long enough. The place is beautiful, and the furnishings are unique, the lighting creates an extra-ordinary ambience. Even the luxury styled bathroom is a marvelous piece of art. Staff are helpful and efficient. In fact the Hotel was very well managed indeed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, I'd love to go back soon.

Can't go to Joburg and not stay at Hoeveld house.Had a lovely stay, the staff were wonderful and will definitely return.
