Life Rosepark Hospital

All I can say is thank you. My Fiance went in and the nurses took so well care of him in ICU and Cardio Ward. They made him feel so at home, and they showed so much care and understanding. Especially Nurse Ramona, she deserves a raise. Thank you so much for the kindness and the professionalism showed.

My mother is in Rosepark Hospital and she have been waiting for 4 hour to be helpThis is supposed to a top Hospital but there sevice is horrible. Now she have to stay a nother night and this is draining her medical aid

I recently visited a patient in the medical ward at Rosepark Hospital. I was extremely disappointed with the conditions in the ward. The air conditioning units were not working properly, and as a result, the temperature in the ward was too high for comfort. This will make any stay in the hospital much less pleasant than it should have been, and it also had negative impacts on my health and recovery.It is unacceptable that a medical facility would not provide a comfortable and adequately temperature-controlled environment for its patients. I hope that the hospital will address this issue and make the necessary repairs to the air conditioning units as soon as possible.

This is still a hospital where you can you see professionalism and pride has not been touched by the greediness and uncaring attitude of the South African Government. Here the staff are still neat and tidy and well groomed. The floors, walls and everything else is still clean and neat. The wards are extremely clean and well sanitized. There is still a degree a silence adhered to as should be in hospitals to respect the ill. And the staff in general are extremely friendly and always willing to assist where they can.I just visited a family member there. But sure if i could would choose to go here if ever i need to go to hospital.

Maternity ward.I am heartbroken. My child was born with erp’s palsy due to medical negligence. No one wants to take responsibility or even assist us with treatment etc. I chose Rosepark as they are “one of the best”. I am disappointed. Very heartbroken!

I feel like the paramedics did a better job than the doctor herself. She gave me nothing for the pain and was very dismissive. The nurse and the guy helping him were very helpful. Would not recommend the doctor to anyone, I didn’t see my X-ray nor was it explained to me. The doctor did not tell me anything about my injury. I left the hospital in pain and the doctor told me there were no beds but in actual fact I got to know there were. The doctor was neither patient nor compassionate and did not seem to care, it’s as if she was on a ticking time bomb, ready to get done with the call or night shift.

We have a family member in ICU and the communication channels are shocking. We are not allowed in hospital and we are never advised of the status of the patient. When we phone, they give us totally the wrong information that doesn't correspond to what the doctor says. They also appear to be irritated when we phone. Don't they realise it is important for us to know what the status of our loved one is??

Cardio Ward - You dealt with each patient with such empathy and care. All staff encountered on the day was truelly excellent. Thank you

My stepfather is currently in Cardio I.C.U, in a very serious condition, we had an extremely rude and unhelpful male nurse name Matthews" verbally assaulted my mother in the presence of everyone in the ward
