Worth a stop for a light lunch and cold drink. Very sweet and homely shop that you can fine some awesome gifts. Support local and pop in when you coming along the beautiful R62 route.

An absolute gem of a place in the Klein Karoo. I felt as if I'd stepped back in time. Wonderful hosts and exceptional, personalised service. I would highly recommend this place

if your going Oudtshoorn way this is truly the place to stay overnight, beautiful old farm house we stayed in, lovely hospitality only down fall the walls are so thin between rooms you hear even the pin drop, the restaurant is delightful with lovely goodies to buy as well

We make sure we stop as family to relax at Bella de Karoo to enjoy the home made goodies and breakfast and special vibe in the peaceful Karoo rest stop. Our dog also get VIP treatment and the garden with things to see for the kids a huge bonus. Thank you to the friendly and welcoming staff and don't forget the roosterkoek" etc."

Destination is 20km from nearest town.This is great for a break from society.Rooms and beds are good. Had trouble connecting to WiFi and to find plugs to charge a phone. Had to unplug appliances to charge.Braai facilities are nice. Had trouble to get a fire started without llfire lighters

Lovely Road stall and coffee stop just 30km from Oudtshoorn on the R62 and 20km from Calitzdorp. Rooster koek to die for and a absolute must for a leg stretch or a meal.

So many times I drive past on route to oust shorn so glad I stopped and spent 2 days so if you are looking for the quite farm life and don’t want to be hassled in the town and have a quite space that is comfortable and still within the times - stay here , beds comfy space adequate, Braam area big we had a water pressure issue and within 10 mins was sorted ,excellent host and a guaranteed happy stay thanks again .
