After having received below par service from another store when trying to get a new phone, I went to the Waterfront store hoping to receive better service and I was not disappointed. A big thank you to Brandon on Saturday 18 June, for going out of his way to help me get my new phone which I seriously needed as my previous one was a ticking time bomb (bloated battery). I will definitely be returning if I need anything tech-related.Take my advice: if you need anything tech related, go to the hi store in Waterfront (between Telkom and Audiolens), and ask for Brandon. You will not be disappointed.I also want to make a special mention to Michelle. We were in the store for about 45mins, and she offered to get us cappuccinos. We declined, but the thought counted.

15 hours ago I purchased a new Samsung A12. The fact that I could still get that phone at HI Waterfront gave me more hope since other stores were trying to sell me a Samsung A13. The service was amazing, the ladies were very welcoming. On my way home while I try to set up my phone inside my Uber, I notice that there is glue just on the right end of the phone, I didn't know it was glue until I asked an expert. It looks like the phone was tempered with way before it was even sold. It's not even 24 hours yet and I am making my way back to the store to ask them what this might be because it doesn't look like something normal a brand new phone would have.

Friendly staff but they don't know how to hold their tongue. When I went into purchase a screen protector I was left feeling very uncomfortable by one employee's lack of a filter or social awareness. The staff were friendly, they clearly meant no harm, but it still was not a nice experience for me. I would not go back.
