Shawarma house bellville

First time unlucky! We wanted to see what the hype was all about in Bellville South. So we ordered 3 meals. 1) A Roti Chicken gatsby, 2) A Roti Steak gatsby, and 3) A mutton salomie. The Roti skin on the salomie was burnt for dear life. The mutton was full of bones. There was no other ingredients in the salomie only mutton with bones. The burnt roti skin gave it an off taste. The mutton missed something. I said salt my wife said spices... Ironically, the establishment is proudly Eastern. I score the salomie a strong 1 out of 10. The gatsby's was almost fine but the skins are way to oily and the chicken was crumbling and I don't know why. The steak was lekker soft and that is the reason for the 2 stars here. I score the roti gatsby's an average 3 out of 10. My wife and kids never want to see any items from this place again. But, my feeling is they will do better going forward so I will keep sampling!

Ordered the chicken roti Gatsby, was very unimpressed. Too much spice. Didn't taste nice at all. Way more chips than chicken.Would not recommend

I've ordered a few meals here, on recommendation.Not a fancy place, but the food is good, especially the curry flavours.Hakka chicken noodles also good, big portions.Never been disappointed, and good value for money, compared to the other curry places Moksh etc.

Best Indian food, honestly my favorite. They have a range and different types of sharwama made with different wraps of your choice. Different rice meals and Gatsbys

Literally the most disguising food I have ever encountered. The chips were cooked old oil that smelled like fish. A sharp steel knife couldn't cut through the raw roti dough they sell as Pita". This place should be shut down!"

At 1st site I wouldn't step a foot in place just by the way it looks from the outsideWhen I did step because of no choice due to phone order. Usually their food is excellent but not today. I ordered 2 x vegetarian pizzas and when it arrived I was highly disappointed. Way to much tatar sauce and only has 2 toppings. This is not what I would call a vegetarian pizza!

Extremely awful service. Ordered a Tikka chicken Gatsby on Uber eats to break our fast with. The order was marked complete, we got there, absolutely nothing was done. Don't waste your time with this place. The customer service is invisible and the food is mediocre.

I bought garlic Naan from them as it's the first time I ordered there. Naan was fresh and tasty. Will be trying other foods soon again.

this is the first time we tried your food, and i cannot explain how dissappointed i am. after ordering a steak roti gatsby....i was sadly given a roti with what seems to be a mince ball. I could still get over that fact......but the fact that the meatball was rock hard and burned and seemed to have been the rubbish they just threw into the mix.Will never try your food again sorry.
