We mandated Claude to do our house design. He has designed a beautiful, stylish home which suits our needs, and maximises our views and location. He is one of the most diligent, honest and thorough architects we have used through 5 builds and wouldn't hesitate to refer him for his professionalism and creative design.

Claude Behrmann designed and project managed our house in Riebeek Kasteel in 2016. He considered every aspect of our plot, checking on wind and rain direction, as well as making the most of the amazing views, which resulted in a beautiful house with a verandha that we can sit on even in the worst of Cape weather. His design was outstanding and the completed house exceeded all our expectations. Claude also project managed the build for us. He was meticulous with his oversight and helped us along the way with suggestions and ways to keep within budget. If we built again he would definitely be our first choice, as he is direct, honest and has great integrity.

Claude was incredible and assisted us in building a stunning and unique house in Rural Greyton – he had vision for the property from early on in our discussions and stayed true to what we asked for, while achieving balance between a modern house in a rural setting and nature. This was our first time building a house and Claude Behrman was patient, professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. Our project was made more difficult by the fact that we were doing it remotely. We appointed Claude as the project manager for the whole process and he had a good relationship with the builder; whilst ensuring that excellent standards were met and our dream home became a reality.

Claude Behmann is a very experienced architect and gives his clients personal service of a high quality. He operates from a home office in Stellenbosch, and is very active in the Boland area and farther afield if necrssary.

He helped us with ideas and designs and to implement it within the framework of the building rules and regulations. He managed the project from inception to the final completion. We planned improvements to our house in Stellenbosch and Claude Behrmann was recommended to us. We are not doing renovations at any regular intervals so it was important that we were guided into what we ideally wanted, what is practical and aesthetically necessary also considering the mine field of rules and regulations to comply with. In all of this Claude guided us meticulously, never hurrying us. Claude managed the project from doing sketches, drawing up plans gaining all necessary approvals, dealing with enquiries from the Estate and Municipality, and appointing the contractors.
