Boutique Guesthouse Hanover

The room itself and surrounds were very pleasant, clean and welcoming. However, we were disappointed by our meal. Firstly albeit that we sent an email confirming we were vegetarian, although we did eat fish we were phoned en route to ask whether we would be having dinner which was lamb shanks. Secondly, albeit that the establishment clearly advertises that it caters for all dietary requirements" - we were asked what we would eat if they couldn't find fish when we said we don't eat meat. The vegetarian dish that we did receive (clearly they were totally unprepared) was a plate of boiled peas

Hanna is a perfect host. The rooms are well furnished and clean, the food is excellent. If you're travelling, it's the perfect place to stay.

Oh my gosh where do I even begin, beautiful, neat, stylish, creative. Hanna and her staff are so patient, respectful and helpful. Only thing that bugged me where the flying bugs and that was sorted out with urgency

Great place to stay in Hanover filled with helpful staff. Room featured load-shedding lights as well as an much needed aircon.While the rooms were clean, the room which I was staying in had a damp smell which was slightly off putting.Lastly while load-shedding is currently unavoidable and the Botique guesthouse was well geared for load-shedding, it is important to know that there is no water during load-shedding times. So planning ahead is necessary.

Overpriced and underserviced.Toilet didn't work, water supply is intermittent. You have to phone them to get entry into reception. Their meals are super expensive. Not nice.

My mother & I stayed over at this guesthouse last Friday evening whilst moving the parental unit down to the Garden Route. My wife & I had stayed there previously when we relocated and were very happy.Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hanna & her team were very accommodating & the facilities were on point. The breakfast was delicious and so we set out for the second half of our journey fully rested & rejuvenated... Thank you all

We had the best tasting oxtail ever!! The service is very professional. Rooms are clean and very well decorated. The breakfast (with roosterkoek!!) was just the start we needed for the day. Thank you Hanna and staff!!

The actual venue is fine, rooms are cute, clean and the staff amazing, that is what gives the stars but completely overcharged on food. R198 for 2 chicken breasts, mash potato & small portion of veg. Childen were charged R85 for an extremely dry waffles they couldn’t even eat. R80 for musli & yogurt with cut apple & banana. Unfortunately Will not recommend eating there.
