Little boats all busted unfortunately. Dam overgrown with Lilly pads cannot fish properly. Really peaceful place. Lisa was very easy going. If the dam is cleaned up a little and some working row boats added, this place will be awesome!

We just stayed for 2 nights in Lime cottage and loved it. Great attention to detail, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchenette, great outside area to braai and relax. The farm is beautiful — a peaceful space to unwind. We will definitely be visiting again.

Galileo Farm is a hidden Gem in the beautiful valley of Elgin. Wonderful friendly staff, beautiful views, cosy Cottages, dog friendly, quiet and peaceful surroundings, gorgeous venue for small weddings, birthdays and other functions. We had our wedding there recently and it was an amazing event and our guests all commented on how beautiful the farm and venue is and the calm and relaxed environment. We are so glad we picked Galileo Farm.

Galileo Farm Accommodation and Wedding Venue
We celebrated our daughter and son in laws wedding at Galileo Guest Farm on 21/03/21. The venue is beautiful and well cared for. Our accommodation was comfortable and spacious and I would definitely recommend it to any bride looking for a place for a wedding. Our hostess was so accommodating and such a lovely lady to work with. Thank you Lisa.

My wife Jemma and I celebrated our wedding at Galileo farm on the 10th April. It was nothing short of incredible. Lisa was the most easy-going and accommodating host, and the venue was magical. We booked out all of the cottages on the farm, and everyone commented on much they enjoyed staying. Our dogs also had a ball. We honestly couldn't have asked for more, and will remember our day at Galileo for the rest of our lives.

The Shed...fabulous setting by a magnificent dam/lake. Lovely party venue with excellent parking and facilities. The two enormous fireplaces were lit with log fires...very atmospheric but they spew smoke into the room making it quite uncomfortable. If they replace the open fires with big woodburner stoves it becomes a 5 star venue! Or in the heat of summer..no need for fires...perfect..

We had a very pleasant stay while attending a wedding in the area. House was neat and tidy, everything worked and our privacy was respected. Nice little dam on site for fishing and rowing, with some great farm views.

Wow wow wow.. So beautiful and so peaceful, everything you could want for a holiday. The manager Beth was so friendly and helpful. There was dogs running freely who were friendly. The house we stayed in was so comfortable and cozy, it had everything in it that we needed. The beautiful chandelier and comfortable bed!! Waking up surrounded by water was such a calming feeling. It felt like we had our own private dam which we swam in and it was lovely. I will definitely go back and suggest anyone who wants a peaceful get away to come to this beautiful farm. Thank you to all the staff for such a pleasant experience.

Had a small elopement wedding at the dam. Lisa is a very friendly, the farm is big and you feel like you alone on the farm with the privacy that they give you. Nice scenery, great break-away from city life..
