We stayed in A Hilltop Country Retreat for one night, a perfect stop for our trip from Stellenbosch to Plettenbergbaai.Very clean & cosy appartment. A well equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. We also enjoyed the romantic fire place.We strongly recommend!

We really enjoyed the stay. Owner and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy and well equipped. Equipment in the room is of high quality and bedding, towels and toiletries are the best. Thank you!

Great value for money! The room we were in was perfect. Spacious, everything you need and a huge bed.It’s obviously on top of the village, so when walking back from restaurants, it’s a good exercise.Maybe point of attention was the pool that didn’t seem very clean but maybe I am the only one going into unheated pool. ;-)

Beautiful spacious rooms, big comfortable and clean beds. There is a fridge and a microwave in the rooms for your convenience. There is a beautiful braai area. There are two beautiful and clean swimming pools (child and adult).The only thing to improve is breakfast. It is offered in a restaurant off-site or it can be delivered to yo room a night before.Other than the, I would recommend this place.

Wow! One of our best stay overs. We stayed in the main Guest House, absolutely beautiful, equipped with everything. Jane you assisted us with a last minute booking without any hesitations, you are such a kind lady. Thank you soooo much Lana and Jane, you are 5 stars. Will definitely recommend you and will come visit again.

Lovely green and lush setting, great self catering facilities, particularly love that they have a kiddies splash pool and separate adult pool. Had to endure load shedding but the wifi still worked and they had some chargeable lighting which helped. Had a lovely family dinner at Tredici in town which was wonderful.

I travel a lot and have only 2 favourite guesthouses. And this is one of them.I just love staying here. The place is immaculate. Service is efficient and friendly. Rooms are exquisitely furnished and have everything you need. Fibre internet. Even swimming towels for lounging around the 2 pools. Feel like a braai? Every room has a braai with firewood and even fire lighters. There is a gas hob in every room with a kettle for the gas stove in case of loadsheding. Plus a selction of coffee, tea and milk. They really think of everything. Only thing is, they do not serve meals, but can arrange meals to be delivered. There are lots of quaint eateries to try in town anyway.
