Beautiful service from Semone' however still waiting for my receipt. I was told they waiting for the credit to be passed from headoffice. I purchased on the 22nd Dec - to date I am still waiting. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and I get the receipt for the full purchase price that I paid for the ring as well as the appraiser certificate.

This is more like a feel good love story with Browns...please read till the end!After setting a wedding date (less than two weeks away + in a new city), we didn't even know where to start regarding the search for wedding rings. After several disappointing references we decided to go to the nearest mall (Mall of Africa) to find rings for our big day.We started off at some jeweler (right beneath Browns store), no fancy greetings or welcomes, no one to service us until we had to raise our hands and ask for assistance. An unhappy staff member then helps us - who after telling her the wedding band of my dreams - laughed in my face and told me I have no imagination and went on to show me a range of HER' dream wedding band - completely undervaluing and ignoring my request. My then fiancé could see the complete disappointment / almost giving up face on me and led us quickly out of there. "This wedding ring search is just going to be a NIGHMARE" - supposed to be fun but this day was off to a bad start.After looking through the Mall directory - we then go upstairs to the Browns store. Happy chap (security gentleman) dressed in a well pressed suit signed us in (due to Covid-19 regulations) and before I knew it; a friendly face was smiling

The worst experience you will ever have in your life, right from the security who will ignore at the door when you are trying to access the store. Eventually when he gets over his attitude, you have to deal with the consultant. She came to the door, looked at us - up & down then turn around and left.It’s really sad that some people get jobs but don’t have any sense of humanity, it doesn’t make sense how someone who is in Sales and is supposed to deal with people and treat all customer equally. One of the worst experiences of my life, it’s disgusting.

Being a first time buyer at brown I was very impressed with the professionalism and felt very welcomed . We were dealing with Damian who was very knowledgeable on the selections of diamonds at browns and helped in finding the ring we desired . Would definitely recommend
