Sibaya Lodge

I recently stayed at Sibaya Lodge and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the surrounding area. The amenities were top-notch, including the on-site restaurants, spa, and casino.What really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was delicious, and the variety of dining options ensured there was something for everyone.Overall, I would highly recommend Sibaya Lodge to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The combination of stunning views, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities make for a truly unforgettable experience.

Pool was empty and bed a bit soft but otherwise comfortable...close to Casino

Absolutely appalling service, spent more time doing their admin than having an actual holiday. Booked 3 rooms for 5 days for my family and paid in advance. Every day, there was an issue, I was called out of the hotel several times to help their staff manage their establishment. I won't ever go back again.. not just because it took them 4 hours to realise they owe me money but just the fact that they denied my guests breakfast after I paid in advance for it and refused to rectify the situation. They robbed me of my holiday simple as that!

Quite run down in general Bathroom shower leaked and created a mess on the other parts of bathroom floor. Water everywhere. Very strong Urine smell in bathroom. Staff were good and moved us to another room. More a 2 star hotel. Breakfast....mostly self service. Long wait and queue for eggs..toast, etc. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Terrible breakfast. Even though it was part of the package went to eat elsewhere. Would not recommend it. Simple things like a cappuccino are extra and its the machine made poor quality.No bread selection, no rolls. If you want toast go stand in the line for about 20 minutes and your options are white or brown bread, that's it. Rye bread, the look of confusion was priceless, don't even bother.Same with eggs, one cramped window serves everyone. If you enjoy standing in a one window queue for 20 minutes for a fried egg, this is the place for youFruits with yogurt, some tired-looked canned peaches and guava that have seen better days and melon, whoop de doo. At least the melon was fresh and not canned.If the breakfast isn't part of the package they charge you R220.00 but your machine-made latte, not included. Better value at your local Fego or WimpyRe the room, I'm guessing at R1700 night room a bar fridge or even ice is just too much to ask for.If going to Sibaya, avoid the lodge.

I stayed at the Sibaya Lodge from the 10th to the 12th of April 2022. The weather was extremely cold and rainy during this period. The hotel room was freezing cold and when I had asked the receptionist if the airconditioner had a heating function, she had said no. The room was terribly cold and unpleasant. On the day of check out I had forgotten my USB on the TV and I called in 2 hours later to inform the hotel and had asked them to check and keep the USB for me and I would pick it up. The unfriendly staff that answered the phone replied we will keep it if we find it". I called again a few days later and another unfriendly staff member said that they would call me back after checking the lost and found box

Was not happy with the state of the bathrooms. Mould everywhere. The bedroom was satisfactory. Breakfast was satisfactory with good range to choose from. Received an email /survey from Sun International after the stay requesting to rate the stay which I've done and hope that action can be done regarding the state of the bathroom. I suggest having a small lounge area incorporated into this Lodge because there is none.

Date of stay 1st March 2023 ....the staff are rude reception area is pathetic we needed 1 nite only had to catch an early flight.... can't understand why the lady was so unfriendly . She shouldn't be in that type of job ...neverBooking there again we didn't even have the breakfast. .
