Well they all say bigger is better.... But when you have to wait for 2 hours, i am not sure.It might have all the latest equipment but when the system lets you down, its not working, or is it the people not working and on their cellphone ?

Went there to surprise someone and upon entering the security was so nice and helpful. Must be the atmosphere

This modern facility has the worst communication with their clients - the delivering parties.Blocking all communication, ignoring all clients - just leave them in the dark for more than an hour at a time. This must be the most frustrating and money wasting operation of Shoprite.

A really neat warehouse.. going to look awesome with new demarcation lines. Infinite warehouse maintenance solutions is repainting all the lines with high traffic non wear paint. Going to look excellent soon.

No complaints about the distribution area. But the crates department is a different story when trying to find a operator to load your truck.

Horrible service by the receiving team.People served not on first come first serve but bias through being acquaintances.Arrived at 918am to deliver one pallet which was unloaded before 10am but checked after 12midday after l complained.Others came with larger loads and got checked before me and guys from Sunrise Express.A white chap from Big Foot drove straight to receiving and got checked and left within a matter of 20mins.A guy from DSV then complained and was also checked well ahead of guys who arrived around 8am.

This D.C is the best in cape town in infact it's the largest service is awesome

The DC might be big with the latest tech. But waiting 20min for security to sigh you in while 5 of them make jokes or sit on their cell phones, no urgency to assist. Once in, you either speak to an intercom who keeps making promises to assist or you walk an empty warehouse with no one making any effort to assist you. It is time for management to get out of their offices and look at what is going on on the floor. This place is not operating 24 hour not even by a long shot. Shift change is minimum an hour long ordeal with a minimum of an hour of no warehouse actions from 06:30-7:30 that sometimes go to 8:30 on account of “updating” the system and “counting” what a joke

Far from the main routes. Morning and afternoon Traffic is a major problem. Heavy traffic pile up in morning and afternoon. Public transport availability is very much limited.
