CHANEL ARC V&A

Ignorant employee at the Bobby Brown counter at Cavendish made my first visit to Arc disappointing and very frustrating and I will not shop there again. I asked for my usual colour of foundation. She riffled around the bottles and told me there is no such colour. I stupidly believed she knew what she was doing so did not think to check for myself. I bought another colour I thought similar. Later found that it was too pale and made me look ill. Went back to ask for a refund or to change product but was told no - I had used the product. On the way out something made me check the foundations - and there was my colour! Was furious that I had spent so much on the wrong colour. The employee wasted my time and money. I went straight to Woolworths where I asked the Bobby Brown consultant for my colour which she immediately produced for me. I will stick to Woolworths in future.

Terrible experience here. Cashier asked to go through my 11 year olds Lovista bag, it was a tiny bag with earrings in. We actually couldn’t believe it. There was no reason to go through the bag as I was standing at the check out about to pay for all my things. I won’t be back.

Unprofessional employees. Does not do their job properly, extremely rude unfriendly and gets upset if u want help more than once . They show you attitude they tell u in a rude way that this is the right thing for you even though you know it's not and also suggests things that are definitely not for your skin type . I've been there twice with my friend and they were not good both of the time they gave me and my friend the wrong things twice and then ended up just asking for a refund

Arc beauty at Waterfront has disappointed me more than once. The first time I visited the store the employee insulted my eyebrows and didn't give me guidance on which products I should use. I decided to give them a second chance, every single employee was talking to other employees, no one was helping customers and the cash registers were all unattended, some employees were loud and appeared to be drunk. This is meant to be a high end beauty store, and the products are not so expensive. Waterfront gets a lot of tourists as well. Step it up. This is unacceptable. Cavendish store on the other hand is wonderful.

I really wanted to like this store but, I just don’t. Do not waste your time, go to Woolworths or Edgar’s instead. Staff got irritated when I asked for help and only came and assisted me when I opened drawers for the products I was looking for, could not give me an answer as to when stock will be received (on products that they’ve had “no stock” of since December!!) and when I brought it up I was told “we’ve had stock” please show me when you did have stock.. I’ve given enough chances, I simply will not return. I would rather buy a plane ticket and fly up to the Sandton branch, this one is just a waste of rental space.
