Amazing service, incredible seafood and a view of the ocean, what more can you want? This place has some of the best oysters you’ll find anywhere on the west coast, PERIOD! Fresh from the sea. The calamari and mussels were also incredible! Served with real, home cut chips, not this frozen stuff they serve nowadays. Will be here anytime I’m in the area.

A friend recommended Damhuis to me and it was such a wonderful experience. Melkbos kitchen is usually my go-to but the last couple of times I went, it was very underwhelming. The food at Damhuis was superb, filled with flavour, and fresh. The only thing I would change is their chips (that were quite flat for lack of a better word) the service was impeccable, we moved tables into the sun with no questions asked. The atmosphere was calm and inviting and for someone that struggles with anxiety I found it quite comforting. Huge props to the staff for their vibes...

Excellent food, service and location. It is usually full so always best to phone ahead if you are travelling in. Sunday lunches are very popular so reserve a table.

Kick back and relax in this unique heritage building while your personable waiter woos you with perfectly prepared seafood.The marlin I had was a definite highlight. Although, having a taste of the oysters, prawns, hake, and muscles at the table, I believe everyone felt the same about their own individual meals. We ventured into the desert menu, and while they each certainly looked the part, they didn't impress as much as the mains.The kids had a blast in the play area, and even made a new friend. This is a great restaurant to bring the kids, but bookings are essential as it is quite popular.

Great location, across the road from the ocean surrounded by glass panels sheltering you from a possible cool breeze.Very friendly staff, huge verirty menu to choose from with exceptional delicious food.

Fine dining at its best for the whole family, AND OUR FURRY FRIENDS CAN JOIN IN THE FUN! Special menu for doggies - my food connoisseur K9's, Taco and Sammy worked through the whole menu - wolfed down their beautifully presented starters, mains and desserts! My main course, catch of the day, was the delicious! Thanks
