Big thanks to Sfiso for assisting in getting my faulty battery tested and replaced. This was also done timeously so not to leave me without backup for an extended period of time. He also helped in troubleshooting the issues I was having.

Sales process could be a far more streamlined experience. Charging your clients R75.00 for collection from your warehouse and a (25%) restocking fee in case of changing your mind about a particular order, is really unacceptable, especially since we are actually supporting your business, and could decide to purchase from any other business that values their clients.

Worst customer experience I have had in a long time. Waited on the phone for 45 minutes + and moved from called no3 to called no 1 and after 45 minutes I was no 4 again with an estimated hold time of 1 minute. 15 minutes later the estimated hold time is still 1 minute.Your customer service is terrible. You do not provide proper support for your WatchPOwer App or technical phone support for setting up your inverters. Once your installers are gone, the customer is on their own.

I am very dissipation in Segen. I returned a defective battery for the second time. It has now finally been tested and determined it is defective. But now that the battery must be replaced I am getting no feedback on when will the battery be replaced.Also why do you have telephones when no one answered them!!!! Pathetic. Good choice of products and if you are not in a rush would be good. Have used them previously and they deliver no problem. If however you need something quick - go elsewhere. Needed a battery urgently, ordered confirmed delivery date (asap). They have to phone you and ask technical questions before dispatching?! (just send the bloody thing, client in darkness). Also appreciate online shop but had a driver sitting outside for over 5 hours one day and after making a fuss they organised for 9am the next day. Driver received goods at about 2pm. So basically had a driver waiting for a total of pretty much 10 hours. If you want good delivery (after working through the over complicated web site and technical phone call), all good. If you need sonething urgent. Not so much. Like I said appreciate the help getting my mounting system after KD solar let us down but a driver waiting nearly 10 hours!? Especially when we are trying to spend literally millions on solar products - Herholts got our battery and inverter orders. Ordered paid and collected in 3 hours. including the 45 min drive there and back whilst our other driver was waiting at yours.

Thanks for great service from Gontse and the rest of the returns department. He timeously done the firmwares for my 7 batteries and assisted in booking 1, the 7 are currently running and awaiting one to be repaired.

I’ve installed 6 new Pylontech batteries on an existing system and had to update the firmware on all the batteries. After contacting Segen Technical Support, Gontse phoned me back within 10 min after logging the call and assist me. I was quite impressed with his level of technical knowledge and while updating the firmware he also gave me training to do this myself for all our customers. He also explain to me the compatibility of the different Pylontech batteries and in what sequence you need to install them. Thanks Gontse for assisting me and keep up the good work.
