I Had a booking completely confirmed and was then canceled by the owner as they don't accept booking for shorter than three days, no indication of that whatsoever when booking

Lovely home. Great host who cared for our needs at all times. Closer to the beach. Nice views and in a very quiet and secure area

Not a place to be never ever. Owner an apartheid person doesn't have a welcoming note. Inconvenient atmosphere not welcoming at all. It is far away from civilisation I never slept there not even my enemy must never book it.

Very decent price for the rooms offered. The view is great and we felt very safe!Although, even though it's self catering, I feel like they should check if everything is clean before new guests arrive. There were lipstick stains on the glasses.We didn't feel like we had much privacy either and would often be called up by the owner about noise or various other little things. We were hardly at the guest house and the owner came into our room everytime we weren't there. It felt very much like living with your parents and not renting a BnB.Also, you have to pay extra for breakfast. The most difficult thing for me though was trying to shower. The shower head is the worst I've ever had. It sprayed really hard, random spurts into all directions. I had to walk around in the shower to try and rinse myself. In the process I get out with super wet hair and really cold. It's difficult to shower quickly in a water restricted area then.

Had a wonderful stay at Fig Tree Manor. The accommodation is clean, tidy and offers everything you need. Beutiful view of the ocean from the unit we stayed in.

Fantastic service, great value for money, beautiful views and a very friendly helpful owner. One truely feels welcome.

If you are a black person. Don't come to this guesthouse. The owner is racist. Lights kept switching off while I was preparing for my presentation. She blamed me for the electricity disconnection. She said lights were working before I got there. I studied electrical engineering at university. I did not want to argue with her. Breakfast was terrible.

Lincey was accommodating, and our weekend was very enjoyable.Thank you!

Perfect little get away for a stress free time.

Been here 4 times and I love this place. Lincey, the owner is very friendly and the place is kept clean, slept well and I was very comfortable. I only stay here if I am in Blythedale
