Royal Atlantic

Our 3 week stay started off great, until housekeeping started throwing our groceries away that were just opened by us , making us waste so much money. We also had some of our belongings go missing , when we brought this to management’s attention they could care less to assist us and were very dismissive about the situation. Really disappointing end to our trip. The way everything was handled showed us how little the staff care about their guests. We were returning guests but can’t see us ever returning after how we were treated.

We had a 14 day stay at this place and thought it was good at first until we found out the scum cleaners stole my AirPods and my friends JBL speaker out of her closed bag in the room while the room service was cleaning.Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the manager, reception ladies and the cleaning staff as they all kept quiet when we asked how to deal with the situation. Not one of them wanted to help and in fact made themselves look like victims of the situation.DONT STAY HERE!!

Wouldn’t give any stars if there was an option. Worst experience ever! There was urine on the couch, my boyfriend sat up off the couch and his pants were wet after smelling the couch it was clear it was urine. Probably an accident from a toddler from the previous guest. After 1 hour waiting for assistance called reception more than 5 times. No one apologised, the manager was dismissive and no one wanted to attend to the issue. We ended up leaving. This is besides other issues we experienced but nothing can compare to that horrific and disgusting experience and the very very rude receptionist!!

Rooms were obviously renavated some time ago, and the condition is excellent.One can not help to wonder why they did not walk the final mile and also replaced the dilapidated dressing tables and stools.

This is an objective review. I can only describe our experience as soured. As a paying guest we were treated like we had booked in to a hostel. On arrival I was asked to confirm how many guests would be staying in the unit. I answered that 6 adult guests would be staying. I was then presented with rules to be followed, the most bizarre of which was that since the unit size accommodated 6 people - no other people would be allowed including day visitors as over-crowding the unit was not allowed" As this was a condition of the facility and condition precedent for check-in to be concluded. I had no option but to sign the check-in document to receive the room key. I then asked for an additional parking space for my arriving guests and was told that only 1 parking space was allocated per unit and further that if I required additional parking

Lovely place and very friendly staff. It looks like there have been a number of renovations conducted as the facilities were better than what we had expected based on the previous reviews. We were on the 3rd floor so no view of the sea at all however, this did not bother us as we spent most of our days out and about. There are a number of restaurants to try close by (within walking distance) who offer really delicious food.

Nice location, close to a bunch of touristy places such as the V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, Table mountain, etc. Comfortable rooms with all the required facilities. Games Room for the children, heated pool, tables tennis, arcade games, bicycles, etc. A short walk to the sea front. Beautiful sunset views. A lovely location for a break away from home.

We had a lovely stay at Royal Atlantic, location is prime, facilities are wonderful. However, we noticed numerous personal items were going missing after each room service! Multiple complaints were made to reception staff, and managers. Sadly not one individual took the complaints seriously, in actual fact I was entirely left to deal with the situation on my own. I’m extremely disappointed in how the matter was handled, and the lack of sympathy.

It's nice.....but it wil be better if you turn up the heat of the pool and leave it on.....because it's winter.

Very comfortable place with basic necessities. Fully equipped kitchen? Clean pleasant rooms. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Close to alot of tourist sites.
