1st Bergvliet Sea Scouts

Scout hall is clean and neat, with pretty reasonable condition wood floor. Used for ballet lessons during the day. Facilities include a pizza oven.

No falts with the scouts. However the park we gathered in, was awful. I know theres water restriction, in that case just keep the grass short.Keep the residence up to speed about whats happening in tgere community.Other than that everything else was nice.

Lovely big open venue just down the road from a park

This venue is shared with with the Sea Scouts, and is used by Turner Dance Studios for modern dance and ballet lessons. It's a nice sized hall that lends itself to activities requiring a large open space.

It was during my time as a 1st Bergvliet Sea Scout that I met my first and (if I'm being truly honest) only true love, Woodalina. Oh how I pine for the days where I would lie in my sleeping bag and slowly caress the soft grooves of her barkless skin. Her disfigured appearance might've put off some, but the resemblance of four limbs was enough to meet my admittedly low standards - who needs a head anyways when you have a heart of gum. Or was it willow? I never did find out her heritage, but she certainly put a spruce in my step, she was and will always be my beech, a truly great oak, a sweet thorn and a baobabe if ever there was. Sometimes I lie awake at night and wonder what became of her and if she remembers me and if it's even possible for an inanimate object to have memories, yet I do hope that wherever she is, she has found peace and happiness. Oh also I had fun doing scout stuff.

Amazing scout group with adventurous activities all the time. I've been a member here for 5 years with no intention of leaving. It's one of the last all boys troops left in the Western Province.
