We actually stumbled upon Chrissie and Willem one evening driving around scouting for an apartment. I must say I had never before heard of Leadsprop, but the service I received was just great, right from the start. It took us a couple of months and various other agents before I decided to give Chrissie a call again as none of the other agents could find us the perfect home. This time both Chrissie and Willem really went all the way in trying to source the perfect apartment. They found me one not listed with them, but to them it was all about keeping a client happy. I am so happy that we stumbled upon them that evening. Had we not we could possibly still be looking for an apartment. I will recommend them to everyone I know if that may be looking to buy property. Worst experience ever! Scammers and money lovers!Herewith I would like to encourage each and every prospective tenant TO NOT RENT WITH Leadsprop Rental Acency. After my experience of nearly 3 years renting a house through them, bagging them over R200 000, they stilll took almost 70% from my remaining deposit of over R6000. The amount deducted is over R4000.Now, please take into consideration, that according to the agreement, deductions may be made for actual damages caused by me to the property. However, no actual damages were found; no proof was provided for any damages. In fact, they (and myself) even took photos of before and after, which has been forwarded to Rental Housing Tribunal by me for further investigation.The most cowardly thing done by the two agents in charge however, was to abuse my inexperience of a first time tenant and to use 70% of my remaining deposit towards refurbishment of the property, like polishing, painting, cleaning and even paying for the labor thereof.The above refurbishment was apparently needed simply because I didn't open enough doors and windows for proper ventilation which in turnedthe caused some mold in the ceiling, but just within a week of occupation, mold already started to appear. This was addresses to them in an email many times before, but of course they decided not to act to ultimately lay the blame on my way of living due to their poor maintenance of the property. They failed follow up on any of our concerns for which there is proof of.It's actually a huge shame that they knew exactly the poor condition of the property and banked on my vulnerability to maintain their responsibility.What a pity for the current tenants being unaware that they might face the same fate (maybe worse) upon vacation.I really hope a soon to be tenant will come across this review and make very informed and careful decision TO NOT RENT OR EVEN PURCHASE ANY PROPERTY VIA LEADSPROP!There are many other honest, reliable, responsible, professional and non-greedy rental agencies out, there OTHER THAN Leadsprop!

I want to add that due to the financial difficulties you have set me up for, and my desperation to inform the public of your conduct, I couldn't even access my own Account, and had to use Mr. Green's instead.Luckily this makes no difference, and the review is here to stay!
