DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!Upon hearing good reviews of this establishment, we went for supper on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, the mussel pot had a COCKROACH! When we approached the Manager named Rowan, she was extremely rude, completely disregarded our concerns, defended the restaurant, and instead informed us that the cockroach could have come from the ocean.Bare in mind we were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time. (Perhaps this should have been the first red flag)The level of service at the restaurant is appalling. The fact the manager was rude to us instead of simply apologizing is unacceptable.I will definitely not return to this restaurant nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone!Kindly send the Manger on hospitality training ASAP if you wish to retain a customer base.

Really impressed with the service and the food.We had the Sushi as starters.4 piece tempura prawn roll and 4 piece salmon avo rainbow roll.Absolutely delicious.Main CourseFresh crispy hake, calamari and prawn combo with rice,chips,stir fry was enjoyed by my wife and I.Again very delicious.The laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff who when asked was able to recommend options on the menu was very pleasing.We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant and will definitely recommend it to friends and family and visit again.

All the way from Mpumalanga. Wow, we recently travelled abroad. Nothing compares to the food we received here. The best sushi and seafood my husband and I have ever tasted. The hake literally melts in your mouth. Everything was so fresh and tasteful. Would 100% recommend.

Was treated to dinner at this lovely establishment yesterday for my birthday. What a lovely place with such friendly staff and management. Very knowledgeable about their menu. Everything was amazing. We had a cheesy garlic roll, the peri-peri livers and the mussel pot for starters...unfortunately no pics for the starters as we devoured it as it reached our table. For mains my kid had the mac n cheese as well as the chicken strips.Hubby settled on the oxtail and i had the platter for 1. Their platter was done to perfection! The oxtail was absolutely delicious...if you are looking to a good oxtail and not sure where to find one...trust me look no further than Qbn's!Everything was washed down with some tasty coolers.A beautiful experience and will definitely be back for the sushi!

Amazing food and brilliant service. This restaurant provides first class dishes and an array of food choices, including an impressive sushi menu. The sushi was done to the highest professional standard. The staff makes you feel really special and are at your beck and call no matter what you require. From seafood dishes to meat and curries the choice is truly impressive and the ambience is just awesome! Truly one of Durban's best restaurants!!

Highly recommended! The most important aspect, the food, was delectable and delicious. You really don’t need salt and pepper on the table, everything was so well prepared and yummy! The service however is somewhat amateurish, for example we (two people) ordered the exact same meal, but it arrived at different times, my guest ordered grilled but got fried, drinks without ice on a very hot day etc. The restaurant has a few dirty spots like light fixtures and a layer of dust on the fan, but overall seems clean to eat and I won’t rate anything as n problem! The owner/manager takes care to listen to feedback and promote the business, like telling us about salsa evening!!

This is indeed a gem of a place. The freshest and finest seafood brought to your table. Not to mention the generous portions. Over the top service from staff and the gorgeous manager. Give them a try for birthday parties as well. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Qbn's from breaking away from the usual norm and for making our visits precious moments to remember.
