Just Teddy

What a disappointment to get to the Sandton City Just Teddy's and expecting the same impeccable service than the one at Hyde Park. Asking our waiter for a glass water was met by a blank stare and a response that one cannot order a glass of water except if it is specially bottled, highly over-priced water. This is unacceptable for a fine establishment to enforce. Really?! Pay for water?! Nope, big nope.

Nope... huge let down! No ambience, food average, terrible experience! Hyde Park is on another level, Sandton Just Teddy will never see me again...

The service of Just Teddy Sandton is terrible. The boulangerie was not even at capacity or close to capacity. They take so long to bring everything from the menu to the food to the bill. We even had to stand up to get our bill when leaving. Their beef bacon is quite dry. I had the Italie, which is an Eggs Benedict with basil pesto. It did not taste nice.The chai latte is not the greatest.Their oats is delicious and so is their Passionfruit smoothie.Overall an underwhelming experience.

Most delicious red velvet cake. Excellent service by Teddy himself. Delicious cake packaged exquisitely and delivered to my door.

This is a cafe at Sandton. I ordered flat white and chocolate tart. It was really nice! And atmosphere is also nice.

The name does not do justice to the establishment! We had our first ‘High Tea’ experience and I would highly recommend it. Our table was well laid out with fine cutlery & crockery. The waitresses were attentive and took our drink selections (hot or cold to start the High Tea), after which they brought out the delightful & delicious assortment of top tier scones, middle tier savoury mini buns / bagels and lower tier macaroons, petite-fours, cupcakes, cheesecake tarts and mini cakes. All followed by a choice of hot or cold drinks to finish off a well worthwhile High Tea. One of our group is gluten intolerant, and was well provided for.

I just went by for a small snack but really enjoyed their stuff and especially those macaroons were absolutely divine! The Service was also lovely , very friendly

Great service and delicious food, excellent experience. Enjoyed the Lebanese coffee. Cant wait to visit again.

Terrible service. I wasn't allowed to have a glass of water, apparently you can only get bottled water. What? Seriously? I love the Hyde Park restaurant where I've never had any issues. How can you in good conscience not allow patrons to drink a glass of water without having to pay for it? Also no matter where you sit, there are people walking right next to you.
