Shoprite Van Der Walt Street

They should bring back the smaller trolleys. Now everyone is using the big trolleys for few items that are also too heavy when using a basket and the store seems to have decreased in size since the renovations so it's hard to move around cause of being blocked by big trolleys everywhere in those small aisles. Have to think twice before going there.

The worst service ever. I grew up coming to this ShopRite but the service has never been great but lately is worse. Slow Ques and the staff never knows anything about the services offered. The people who stand on Ques to buy anything there really have no choice because that kind is service is unacceptable. The staff clearly needs training. I get why the shop keeps getting smaller.

Disappointing service, appalling really. I had to drop my basket with everything in it and left!

This Shop is located at the busiest part of the city and the there is no enough parking

Your cashiers are rude they don't even know the basic principles of customer service and till point efficiency. As a senior manager at Woolworths I found your service unprofound, unethical and uprofessional. I can't be waiting for 2hrs at the kiosk only to be assisted by 1 cashier who looks to be lost and had to ask for assistance whenever she scans an item. The most annoying part is when staff don't queue just because their lunch or tea is almost over. Isn't it their job to give the best service to the people bringing in money,according to my knowledge you can't have 4 cashiers queueing and have 1 on the till point. Doesn't the manager use the discrepancy to allow the customers satisfaction beforehand? Shoprite Van der Walt I'm disappointed and will use you as reference in my future training and recruitment, I'm saddened by the service overall

I am so impressed with the service you give to our Senior Citizens (SASSA).1. Staff members always make sure that there are chairs available for our elders to sit while they are waiting for the store to open2. Your store opens at 06:30 to accommodate them and to avoid long ques.3. Your staff members are always available to help the elderly and those who are physically challenged.Keep up the good work Shoprite!

I went to order cake for my daughter in January, was told that they dont have cream and cant bake the cake, went again today 6th April to order cake for my son, they still cannot make the cake because they still dont have cream, why do they have those cakes on display for advertising if they are unavailble and the bakery staff say it with such confidence.shoprite Van Der Walt does not bake cakes.

The renovation hv made the store to look cleaner than before

This place is located on the busiest part of town. There is no enough space for all those people who pass and use that part of town. If you have parcels with you you will have to wait a long queue to the parcel counter before you can be granted access into the shop. I dont usually go in here because of all the hassle.
