The main staff member Happiness literally runs everything, from welcome, to hosting, to cooking and cleaning. She went beyond our expectations for everything we needed. We do feel that she needs a lot more help. She was professional as well as pleasant.The owner upon finding that we were celebrating sent us a surprise bottle of champagne that made the day very special.Accommodation was advertised as a safari, yet there are only antelope and the safari is R440 per person, including kids. We didn't do the safari because we felt it wasn't worth it.While the facility is relaxing, there isn't much to do as the pool that we were looking forward to enjoying was discolored and not blue as in the pictures. This stopped us from using it. The owner explained that the borehole water caused this discoloration and the kids enjoyed it for one afternoon, but the discoloration persisted for our entire stay.There are only 3 board games to use.While there are two pool tables, there are only enough balls and ques for one and they do not have que tips.The foosball table is also damaged because a pool ball is being used as the ball.The jukebox didn't work, or there were no instructions on how to use it .We do feel that there could be more activities and a programme for kids during the festive season, like karaoke, games days, water slides, etc. This will draw more people to the facility.We went exploring and found an upstairs section with a jacuzzi, but it was dirty and not in operation.

The perfect getaway with breath-taking sunset. The cottages is very well laid out with Lapa for shade and braai areas. Great swimming pool with playground for children. The staff is friendly and helpful and owners make you feel at home. Will surely recommend.

Clean it and it will be a better place . This accommodation really needs better employees and cleaning staff. We’ve been there with a baby and we’re not over the top with cleanness cause a kid needs a bit dirt, but the child’s corner is incredible dirty with beer cabs between the toys and dead bugs everywhere. The pool really really dirty, is how to say put a hand in 10 cm and it will disappear. Breakfast was good. But at the end they “tried” to charge us the double amount on dinners by mistake” no it was not really mistake it felt like a try to maximize income. I think it was nice there 10 Jears ago but now…. Plastic boxes with dead animal bones on the property , bird poo on all outside sitting benches. Moldy Cake in the self service fridges…. And many many more things…No recommendation to get there!

Magnificent stay! Rooms are spacious and clean and staff are amazing! Food is delicious and well prepared! Could not ask for a better place to spend my 12th anniversary with my beautiful wife!

We were very fortunate to discover this place. Its not been open long and I'm sure will soon be booked up well in advance. The location is amazing. The farm is huge and the game drive was wonderful. Much more natural and relaxing than the Aquila zoo experience, and a fraction of the price. (It's only 20 min drive away) The rooms are lovely, very comfortable with views over the veld and the non-chlorinated pool was a delight to swim in (I watched the sun come up). You can self cater (lots of braai areas and a kitchen) but we used the restaurant where the food was very good. The staff were lovely, and its good for kids. This place is a real gem, in fact it was so good we changed our plans and stayed an extra night.

The lodge is very nice and the owners are super friendly and welcoming. There aren't too many guestrooms, but everything is a bit spread out, so that you can enjoy your quiet time and relax. Food is usually served as a buffet and exchange with otehr guests is encouraged. Happy to go there again!
