We celebrated my mommy's 60th here. Overall everything was so lovely, we had a great time on the dance floor with the live band and singer.The food was delicious however they didn't bring the mushroom sauce for the sirloin until the sirloin was almost done.The waiters were lovely but could have been a bit more attentive at times.

Attended a 70th birthday party and we had a lovely evening celebrating. The service was slightly disappointing. Our waiter had certain table members wait for food, dessert and drinks. Including myself. In my case my dessert never arrived and I had to constantly reach out to different waiters passing by, asking about my dessert. The men at my table got their dessert before me and then the ladies and then I waited and waited. Everyone was long done before my malva pudding eventually arrived. It was delicious tho but I would say that having a party function can be very disjointed. Especially when there is alot of invited guests. A small group will do, but it is a bit too hectic and chaotic when it comes to bigger groups as there were many other big groups as well who had parties. There is really no space to socialize and chat with other tables as the space is very limited. We tried to catch up with family members, which we never saw for a while, but it was hard. Overall the restaurant is a lovely venue for a romantic dinner and small group get togethers. The band was very entertaining and did a good job.

Great ambiance, the live band was exceptional. The venue is well decorated. Good family dinner destination - very much felt like a family reunion/get-together vibeFood was decent, seafood seems to be the specialty - the shellfish was a bit overdone and very chewy.Convenient parking complexSome additional A/C would be beneficial, the venue does tend to get too hot.

Wow...if I could give this venue 10 stars I would...this restaurant is more than an eatery...it's everything you need in one place & quite unique in South Africa if not Africa on the whole...the parking is great...this is dining out on a grand scale...the venue is large & bold...the booths are comfortable & Cosy...the reception is friendly & service is excellent...the food is excellent...the best part for me is the live entertainment...the band is excellent & we all danced to familiar tunes...what an experience...we choose the set menu for R450 which was a choice of starters, mains & desert...

The only reason I didn't give it more stars is because my one dish had a hair on it. I don't feel the waiter dealt with it in a very polagetic manner. The food was lovely, but that put me a bit off. While the music and the decor is eye catching and movie like, I'd pay a little more attention to your plate before you dig in. The malva pudding and custard was dreamy.

This is a fine dining experience with a live band. We had a three course meal; three options in each category. I had the butternut soup, lamb shank and chocolate fondant. Excellent!

Love the place, we took the scallops for appetizer and the seafood platter for two for the main course since the waiter told us the seafood was the speciality. Everything was good, a little plain in taste in my opinion, I definitely feel like they could use more spice for sure especially for a Portuguese restaurant. But thankfully they had an amazing peri peri sauce and also an other sauce which I think was like a pepper sauce that was also awesome that made everything good. The peri peri is most spicy than more place but so delicious. We also got a vodka martini olive and the Pigalle breeze. Both drink were good, the Pigalle breeze is extremely sweet more than I would have expected and also it took forever to received our drink it’s the first thing we ordered and we got it after the appetizer just before receiving the main course. They also had a live band which was amazing they were so good and passionate and normally I ain’t a fan of a live band in a restaurant because it’s too much for the space but this place was so big with a stage and they were playing such good song and so well everybody was found dancing in front of the stage. Very beautiful. I would definitely go again. The waiter was nice but definitely need to speak louder since we couldn’t eat anything especially with the live band. But overall great place and great service.
