They stuffed up my order-firstly, because their Branch Manager wasn't there and we were having issues with fingerprints, we had to go to the MTN store in the Pavilion to override (Supervisor override) the fingerprints issue. Then the Pinetown branch delivers the incorrect colour to the Pavilion store, meaning I had to come back the next morning (inconveniencing me) and then they load the incorrect package onto my deal and further more NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AT THE STORE!!!

I had a very poor customer service experience today (12.11.2019) at your MTN store in Pine Crest Centre (Pinetown, KZN), it all started on Sunday (10.11.2019) when I went into your store to do a SIM swap, a lady by the name of Kristell helped me with the SIM swap and explained to me due to earlier system issues the activation of the SIM card could take anything from 24-48 hours before activation (unusual as it normally takes 2-24hrs) which at the time I did not have a problem with. I did however call the store the next day 11.11.2019 from 16:04 - 17:07 to see if there is any way they can fast track the activation as my wife needed her phone for work, 13 miss calls later and still no answer. This morning (at 9:30am 12.11.2019) the SIM card was still not activated and that really irritated me so I decided to go to your branch. When I arrived at the store which was about 9:45am Kristell told me it would take up to 72 hours before activation, by this time I must say I was rather frustrated and told her that’s not what she told me on Sunday, nevertheless she did not argue and went to resolve the issue, I then asked the gentleman who sat next to Kristell why the branch phone number was just ringing and why no one was answering it, his exact answer to me was that they are short staffed and don’t have anyone to answer the phones, I asked him where the branch manager was which he then replied with “we don’t have a manager”, I was really taken back with the manner he answered me so I asked him “so because you don’t have enough staff the phone will simply not be answered”, his answer to me was “WELL IT IS WHAT IT IS”, once again I was taken back by his manner and answer so I asked him for his name since he did not have a name badge on, first he ignored me but I persisted in asking him for his name he eventually told me “MOVE FROM MY WORK STATION I HAVE OTHERS TO HELP, I’M NOT THE ONE DEALING WITH YOUR ISSUE”, I eventually got his name (Shalendra) from Kristell & Fatima (which by the way was very helpful and helped me to the resolve my issue). I work in the retail industry (Shoprite Checkers) and understands that staff get frustrated with customers but there was no reason for Shalendra to speak to me in such a disrespectful manner it was totally unacceptable, if this was one of my staff members who brought my companies name into disrepute like Shalenrda did he/she would face a disciplinary inquiry. I’m not going to tell you how to deal with your staff but this is totally unacceptable to treat a customer in such a disrespectful manner, I’ve been a loyal customer of MTN for more than 20 years and do not deserve to be treated the way I was treated today.

I just got out of the mall I wanted to do a sim swap MTN was supposed to have still been opened but they didn't allow me inside I was 15 minutes before closing time which as per website is 17H00This means I must make another 1 hour trip here because of their staff incompetence & poor customer service

Been trying to take 2 contracts, for a phone and LTE package for over a week. Keep getting told They will call me back but they never do. Pathetic service. Will not return.

I have made some mistakes in my life but I feel like being MTN's customer is the biggest, I'm a new MTN customer the customer service I always get at this branch is awful. I had to return to this store for one week for such a minor issue that can be fixed in a short space of time. The consultants there are rude, most of the time I'm turned back without assistance due to network loss or offline" aint you a network provider ?"

I just called MTN Pinetown for enquiry about uncapped internet that I am interested in buying. The lady struggled to answer my questions then eventually hung up. I thought I ran out of airtime, then I tried calling some more time, all of a sudden no ones wants to pick up. That is not the kind of service I will expect to get when I will be paying a monyhly fee, so thanks I will pass.

I have experienced the WORST customer service here,  more than once! This branch is the most disorganized compared to other MTN branches. The service is horrible. And the staff pays the least attention to returning customers and are only interested in making sales. Very disappointing.
