5 Stars! I recently rented a motorcycle from Don and Mechele of Adventure Bike Rentals. Communication was great. It took me about 30mins to finalise all payments, bookings and pickup times after making contact with Don out of Europe.The flexibility in pick up and drop off times was a pleasant surprise since our booking was over Easter Weekend where most other companies was closed.Once in Cape Town the process was friendly, professional yet relaxed during pickup. Don took his time to explain all the gadgets and settings his perfectly maintained motorcycles have to offer.The motorcycles can be tailored with the amount of storage you require for your trip and the full spec BMW GS1250 GSA we rented came with all the bells and whistles!There was no surprises and the whole process was effortless thanks to the availability and easy communication with Don.I highly recommend Adventure Bike Rentals in Cape Town and will definitely use of them in the future!

After last minute changes to our travel plans we found ourselves in Cape Town and we threw out the net to hire a couple of bikes to do some touring. Don’s response to our queries was by far the most helpful we received and he then went well out of his way to make sure that we had the most appropriate bikes for our trip. We hired the 1250 GSA and the 850 GS for 2 weeks and covered over 5000kms. Both bikes were late models in immaculate condition and were evidently very well maintained and equipped; neither bike missed a beat during the whole trip. We had a fantastic time, with weather conditions varying from torrential rain (up north) which resulted in flooding and landslides, to the more expected 38 degrees and sunshine. None of this challenged the bikes which proved sure footed in all conditions - Don’s choice of tyres was absolutely spot on. Don and Michelle are a super couple and were very welcoming and interested in our travel plans.We even went home with some special South African GSA customisations for one of our own bikes, facilitated by Don through one of his suppliers. If you are looking for great personal service, and reliable and well equipped bikes for your trip then we would strongly recommend that you give these guys a call.

Truly a 5 star experience. From the moment I sent the first email till after we gave the bikes back Don and his wife was professional, friendly and hospitable.The bikes and equipment, Helmuts, Jackets, Gloves and phone holders, was of the best quality and complimented the experience extremely well.Bikes are absolutely perfect and in a class of their own.A definate will do again!

My wife and I were down for the weekend, and at moments notice were lucky to have Don have a bike available for us. His friendliness, speed at helping us and giving advice and make us feel at ease was just amazing!Bike in great condition, clean, great orientation!Thank you Don and Michele making us feel at home, and we will definitely be calling you soon on our next visit!Can't go wrong with these guys, give them a shout.

Don is an honest and kind person. He and his wife Mechele are easygoing and very friendly! We had nice conversations together and drank some coffee. The rental price is good, you get personal service and it all went very smooth. I rented the BMW F 850 GS 2022 model, which is an amazing bike. I drove through the Cederberg Mountains with a guide, which I was able to introduce to Don as well.The BMW F 850 GSA was in perfect condition and drove amazing. Don knows what he’s talking about, so that’s great. Easy communication and flexibility.I definitely recommend renting a motorcycle here!

Don & Mechele provided me with a great bike and helmet. We travelled through mostly remote dirt trails and the GS850 was the ideal machine for this.

Rented from Don for 2 weeks as we continued our Round the World Tour. The bikes were meticulously clean and in tip-top shape. The tires recommended by Don were superb, exceeding our expectations as we toured the Western Cape, including Die Her and Baviaanskloof. Don provided a wonderful wireless mount for our phones, which worked perfectly (now I have to order one for my bike!). When we decided to extend our stay, Don was instantly flexible and we prolonged our ride because it was all so much fun. When we were finished, Don inspected the bikes carefully. I had lightly dropped mine in Baviaanskloof and scored the valve cover mount and a few other areas. The cost of repair was pretty steep, but then, Don wants his bikes in perfect working order and - when I started my ride - so did I!!! So, I had to pony up for some repairs, but this is exactly what you should expect when renting and now you know beyond all doubt that a bike rented from Don will be in superior working order... and you'd better return it that way too! I highly recommend renting from Don as opposed to some big nameless shop. Give your business to a hard-working, likable chap that is also a fellow rider and will serve you a nice cold beer and happily listen to your adventures before and after the road trip! 5 stars - all the way. Very nice bikes, BMW GS’s, well maintained, personal approach with great hospitality. Don really cares for you. Besides, riding near Cape Town is absolutely smashing!
