Ruan is a professional but fun instructor. As someone who has always been terrified of driving, it's been a great experience gaining confidence with each lesson. Ruan was very accommodating of my busy schedule and tried his best to teach me to drive despite my nervousness on the road. Thanks to him, I can drive safely and confidently by myself.

Malcolm assisted me to prepare for my bike license. He is highly skilled, kind and very patient. It was worth travelling to Randburg from Hartbeespoortdam for my lessons.

It was a pleasure using Biker Basics to get my motorcycle license. Lloyd is an excellent teacher and his instructions are very clear and helpful. Organizing lessons through Ruth was very simple and a pleasure. I did 3 x 2 hour lessons in the space of 2 weeks and passed my test first time at Milnerton Traffic Department using Lloyd's bike. Highly recommended, thanks again Lloyd and Ruth!

I have been riding motorcycles for 25+ years but passing a driver test is more intricate than you would think. Was recommended to Billy and his team by a friend to do a lesson before going for the test. They have a fully mocked up test range the same as you will face at tye real test. They patiently explain and coach you through each of the 6 challenges you will face and lead you in a group to practice. They constantly advise after each try so you know what to change. I was well prepared for the actual test and thanks to billy who also had a standby loaner bike o the test day at the station I was able to pass 1st time. Thanks Billy you and your team are great.

Bike safe motorcycle academy offers a very relaxed and safe environment to learn to ride a motorcycle. As long as you can ride a bicycle, Billy and son will take you from zero to motorcycle hero less than in 5 hours. Start on a scooter leave confident and capable.

Got my Licence Today! Can't believe it.When I contacted Lloyd and Ruth (Biker Basics) at the end of November '21, it was just to get some help with my riding. I had no intention of getting my licence just yet, because in my mind, I needed a lot more time.In our sessions, Lloyd was able to help me grasp new concepts, address the negatives in my riding, and raise my confidence. After a few weeks, with all the helpful input and consistent encouragement, I made a test appointment, and you know the rest.In this short time, my riding skills have improved (I'm doing things I didn't know I could), and I am enjoying my bike so much more.
