Engela Fullard is passionate about helping people. She is an inspiration and incredibly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to music students, composers, musicians and music teachers for online music notation training.

Having taught in both primary and high schools, Engela Fullard intimately knows the challenges experienced by music teachers in South Africa. She is an experienced Sibelius Notation Software specialist whom I can highly recommend as facilitator and presenter.

Excellent Sibelius trainer who customized all training to suit my personal notation requirements, being able to learn at my own pace! Always there for follow-up requests. Highly recommended for online training for music teachers and students, musicians, composers, arrangers.

Ms Fullard, Engela, is an amazing teacher, - showing patience, intuitive musicality and compassion. I have learnt so much from her and will continue to lean on her, not only for her knowledge of Sibelius but also for her sound musical advice. In my opinion - no-one does it better! She goes above and beyond. `If I have a question which cannot immediately be resolved, she works on it and follows up with an answer as soon as possible.

Engela's YouTube classes, as well as her one-on-one classes (in person) are outstanding. She pre-empts the questions one wants to ask when she explains topics on her YouTube videos and is totally open for suggestions for new topics (if you ask below). The last video about anacruses (upbeats) was so amusing to me - I wanted to ask a new question, and just as I was about to want to remember to write that down to ask, she would explain that exact question! That is the sign of a good teacher - you can put yourself in the shoes of your pupils or clients, and consider what next they may possibly want to know. Not many teachers possess that skill.Having had personal classes with her as well - she is very very knowledgeable - more than knowledgeable - she knows Sibelius inside out. She can answer absolutely any question about it, but is very humble about her abilities. When I bought Sibelius a while ago, it took me some time to get used to their terminology - using American terminology, instead of the British one most of us are used to (half notes instead of minims, system instead of stave, quarter notes instead of crotchets) but in her classes she adapts to that terminology, if one needs it.She may be explaining simple concepts on YouTube, but her knowledge is much more vast than just that - she does very complicated arrangements as well, and can answer very complicated questions. And she cares - when there is an impossible problem, that not even AVID can resolve sometimes, she can. She persists until the problem is resolved (eg Sibelius suddenly telling me I have no ID or I can only use the trial version). She has a caring and very special personality (I know this is not quite relevant here) and she is the ideal face of Sibelius in South Africa. I believe AVID should put her face on the Sibelius boxes! Her fees are also very reasonable - she undercharges. So do not be taking advantage of her kindness! Pay her more than she charges (if you can afford it).I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn the basics, or carrying on to the much more advanced aspects of Sibelius. And no - I am not a friend giving this review, who may be biassed. I am a client. Although we have become good friends, because of her Sibelius classes and her caring nature. I would have written this same review a while ago when I had just bought Sibelius and had gone for my first classes, before we were friends. She is an asset to you, AVID! Take note. Help her to market herself more.Watch her YouTube videos and Subscribe (NoteSoEasy). You will learn a lot and will then definitely be inspired to go to her for classes. Perhaps a difficult thing right now with Covid, but I believe she also teaches online, very successfully. Please give each video a ThumbsUp and click the notification bell next to Subscribe" so that you can get her new videos.Once again
