What a fantastic spot, with its home-made food, incredible hospitality and lovely staff. Sitting on one of the magnificent boulder-strewn kopjes (hills), overlooking Nelspruit, one could not ask for a better view. The cool breeze and well-appointed rooms are so comfortable, with an awesome shower. The meals are superb.

Lovely location providing nice views. Attention to detail is second to none. Staff are exceptionally well trained friendly and efficient. The rooms and general facilities are very well taken care of. The entire ambiance is calm and enjoyable. One of the very best guest houses. Check in / check out / breakfast and billing all super easy. Dinner at the orange restaurant was well worth it.

Incredible service. Beautiful and clean rooms. The staff os very friendly and accommodating. The views are quite beautiful especially when you come from the city, you would truly appreciate the views. We had booked 2 rooms, one sharing and another single room and they both looked like Presidential suits. They have a sun room, where you can relax either in the evening or during a warm summer’s day. Incredible quality service and inexpensive. Can’t wait to come back. ;)

A beautiful place very close to the airport in Johannesburg. Situated over a hillock with nice views of the city. Large spacious rooms, well decorated. Check in is strictly at 2pm, so you need to wait in lobby if you arrive early. Breakfast included in room rate but not much variety. Dinner at Orange restaurant within the premises but quite costly and need to book beforehand as seats are limited and it is quite popular with the local population. One thing to be kept in mind- if you are leaving before 7am, enquire about the alternative way to the parking area as the main entrance door will be locked. Also if you need a packed breakfast, inform before 8pm the night before as they prepare the breakfast and send it to the room at night itself. All in all a safe, comfortable stay

Starting with the good stuff. Breakfast - fantastic, really fantastic. Staff - very friendly. Location - very good. Gardens - beautiful. Views from the garden - awesome.Bad stuff. Bathroom window of unit 4 where we stayed faces onto the walkway between units with absolutely no privacy. The couch in the room was broken. If you sat on the one side you slid into a hole. The private patio really isn't private, a small see-through fence separates you from your neighbours. And the bed... I know a lot of places do this but it really isn't pleasant when you take two 3/4 beds and push them together to make a king. You keep falling into the crack at night. It isn't the most expensive place, but also not the cheapest at R4300 for 2 nights.
