Lord Fraser Guesthouse
The guesthouse is pretty amazing, an historic gem. Room was massive and the antique wood floors and decor amazing. Bed was very comfy.

Lord Fraser Guesthouse
We didn't stay over at Lord Fraser, but were biking around Lesotho and stumbled upon this gem. The owner recognized us, having past us the day before around Fouriesburg. What a great guy, and he refused to take money for the coffees we had. Much appreciated. Beautiful gardens and I love the building.

This was being home from home! Elmien & Suprise was great. They took personal interest in us and our travels. Accomodation was clean and comfortable, the food was tasty and serves was on point. Friendly and hospitality was the agenda of The Lord Fraser. Thank you

Lord Fraser Guesthouse
Very friendly owner greeted us on arrival and showed us the room and explained facilities and the layout. Very large and comfortable room and bathroom. Comfy bed. The barman was very helpful and a real character. We left early the next morning and subsequently received a call from the owner asking if we were satisfied with his guesthouse and wishing us safe travels. A nice touch. Recommend this guesthouse.

Lord Fraser Guesthouse
A most enjoyable stay. Elmien was most welcoming and made returning to what was my Grandparents home a great experience. Lord Frasers Guest House has been beautifully restored and maintained. Our bedroom was warm and comfortable and beautifully appointed. Our dinner and breakfast was excellent and service in all areas was of a high standard.

This was a very therapeutic experience. Lord Fraser Guesthouse is the most premium in Wepener. The hospitality from the staff and owner was impeccable. I highly recommend this for accommodation. The tranquillity and beautiful gardens are just so priceless. Definitely will be back

Lord Fraser Guesthouse
I stayed in room 6 on 13 April 2021. It is a large room with a bath and shower @ very reasonably priced. Elmien, the assistant manager, went out of her way to make sure that I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast, the next morning, was tasty. There was quite a variety of cereals.

Town is a disgrace. Hotel is falling apart, garden is maintained, pool is being used as a garden refuse dump. Maintenance is lacking or being confused for antiquity. Rooms are good but the smog from the fires at night will burn your eyes. Bar is well stocked. Food is ok, don't expect too much. Very cost effective stay.
