What an amazing experience. The animals are well kept and the work they're doing is truly noble.

We had a fantastic experience. Worth while the visit. All animals well looked after. Our room overlooked the lion camp our room was clean as well as the linen. Very friendly staff!!

Excellent experience. Very friendly staff. The love for these rescued animals is just amazing. By visiting them you are also helping them to keep up the great work they are doing. We missed feeding time at 16:00 and still had a great experience. Make sure you go at 16:00. Thanks for a great experience Zanchieta.

Definitely my favorite place in Bloemfontein, Zanchieta is a non profit wildlife rescue farm. They are absolutely amazing at what they do, all the animals are rescued, the atmosphere is so peaceful, you can have such a lovely day there, you can see each animal on your own pace, at 4pm there is a guided tour this is when the animals are fed and this is definitely a must see and if you don't want to stay till 4pm I am sure you can ask someone there and they will tell you about every animal. I see here is a review about the road and such... it's a dirt road to there... dirt roads aren't smooth, that's how it is on a farm. The animals are well looked after and they are all rescued. And the money goes to the animals, go and see them and they really do love the animals I know the owner and the workers they all are big animal lovers.

Absolutely loved it! The staff were friendly and chatty. The place is in excellent condition and the animals are well taken care of. We interacted with the monkeys and enjoyed the walk through. Would 100% recommend going.

Absolutely loved this place! The animals are all so close up and you can see they're getting treated well and feel safe. The staff is really nice and helped us with whatever was needed. We got to see how the animals got fed between 4pm and 5pm. I recommend being there during that time.

Poor. R2000 per night for 2 people sharing. No HOT WATER. Linnen was torn. Very dirty. No decent cutlery or plastic camp chairs. No table. No heater. No nothing. Flat had no keys. We had to leave our luggage there the next day. We had to sleep in a flat that couldnt lock? Only 1 towel in the room and no blankets. No sorry. I am in the hospitality industry as well. I was shocked to see how we were treated!! Everything was dirty.

Very disappointing. First terrible road to lodge. Guides are so glad to see someone come and visit them but then they just tell you where you can walk and view animals and then they're gone. With no visitors they can do some effort and walk with you and tell you more about animals and rehab. Only a few animals and some of the cages need some attention. People must love and have passion for animals to make success of such a place especially if they want tourists. I will not recommend this place for a visit

Beautiful remote location with very well taken care of majestic animals, and the staff are so insightful, helpful, and friendly.

Animals are well taken care of although I didn't appreciate seeing a cow being shopped up for feeding time; maybe consider doing that out of visitors sight?Other than that you guys are doing an excellent job saving these animals. Thank you.
