An excellent place to get some insightful advice and pickup a good deal on a pre lived piece of equipment.

Popped into the shop for a browse and also to see if they had a fuse for my brother's solid-state guitar amp while I was in Cape Town for the holidays.What a pleasant experience!!Friendly, helpful staff, ended up having a long chat with all of them about guitars and basses. Such a wonderful change from most music stores I've visited in recent years - their passion for music and musical instruments shines though. This is what you want in a music gear store. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in the Western Cape.If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I totally would!

Excellent service from Jan and Francois. After experiencing some major issues with my guitar, I booked it in at the Gear Junkie and discussed my issues with Jan. I was given a full run down of what the potential issues were and the steps that would be taken to resolve those issues. My guitar was then handed over to Francois, who provided a very reasonable quote for the work to be done. The guitar was sorted out in a matter of days and I could not be any happier with the end result. It almost feels like a brand new guitar! Thanks once again to the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable team at The Gear Junkie.

The guys at gear junkie is a great vibe. I’ve got my guitar amp fixed there, and got a few of my mates to go there after me. They all feel the same way. Excellent service, highly affordable and generally just good vibes from the store! I dropped my guitar off today and so excited to see their handy work on my swrvice

What an absolute gem!!! The coolest little music shop, like ever.A good selection of guitars, chill attitude, some bric-brac stuff, some clothing, books, CDs, some vinyl. Even got a free coffee.And there was an open jam day.

Probably my favorite place to visit when in need of some good old fashion retail therapy. Really an awesome shop for previously loved music equipment. The Team at The Gear Junkie are always on point when in need of all things instruments. From new strings to old guitars find them here.
