Helping Hands 4 Wildlife

This organisation including all the amazing people is fantastic. Every help is so welcomed. I've been there for two weeks during babyseason - it is work and joy in one. There is no better place if you wanna give something back to momma earth.

I don't know where to start because it is hard for me to put into words how indescribably wonderful my time with Nicky at the farm was. Nicky is simply a kind-hearted person who goes out of his way to make the stay an unforgettable experience. The farm in the middle of the mountains in such a beautiful, quiet and peaceful nature makes you want to get up in the morning to start feeding the animals. And what can I say, working with the monkeys is a unique experience. Thank you for this unforgettable time dear Nicky. Keep up the good work, you make this world a little bit better!

What a great place. Love it so much to be here - volunteering work for and with monkeys (vervets) and also other wildlife . Rescuing, rehabilitation and releasing back to the wild. Here you really can make a change. All the people long term as short term are great and so lovely. The slogan coming as guests leaving as friends are the best words to describe. And then coming back as family. Much love for everybody here and really can recommend this beautiful place to everybody wants to volunteer and have a great, safe and sustainable experience.

I had the best time at Helping Hands 4 Wildlife! It was such an amazing experience to be part of the rehabilitation and release process of the monkeys and to interact so closely with them. I gained so much knowledge during my stay and I fell in love with the place and the animals! In addition to that I found friends for a lifetime and the owner Nicky takes really good care of all the volunteers. I totally recommend volunteering at Helping Hands and I can't wait to come back as soon as possible!

My time at Helping Hands 4 Wildlife was more than I could have possibly imagined. Volunteering at the rehabilitation centre for wild animals was truly a life-changing experience in all aspects given. Not only because of the hands-on work with different animals, it was also refreshing to work under challenging conditions alongside people with such genuine and common passion for their job. The continuous duty variation never allowed for a bored moment, always enriching.I cannot praise enough the support, advice and hospitality shown by Nicky and her staff members. Nicky has been an absolut saint with all of us and together with her staff they have been such a welcoming and comfortable host family. She also helped us to fill in free time with lots of suggestions, such as a visit to the Kruger National Park or a day-trip to Swaziland.I already miss the sitting together after an adventurous day in the sun with a cold beer and have funny, deep and silly conversations with volunteers and members of different countries and cultures.I highly recommend for people with interest and passion for wild life to be a part of this astonishing family and experience, because Helping Hands 4 Wildlife becomes truer to their slogan - ‚arrive as guests, leave as friends‘ -than anyone could expect. Surely not my last time there.

This place is not just something where you can volunteer. This place will be your second home when you leave and you will want to come back as soon as possible. The work with the monkeys was amazing and one of the best experiences I ever made. The people there became my second family and Nicky (the owner) will welcome you with open arms!~Vivi
