The wine and cheese pairing is delicious and definitely worth a visit!R50 for 6 wines along with 6 cheeses. There are 2 sets of 6 x whines to choose from according to your preference.The deli also offers a wide variety of dairy products, cold meats and baked goods, sweet and salty.Beautiful surrounding area, highly recommended*

Beautiful setting. Seating indoors and outside on a terrace available. Had breakfast here, was delicious. Offer a lunch menu as well. Great service. Waiting staff are very attentive. They do cheese and wine tastings. Store on site, you can purchase their cheese and wine ranges.

After our tasting @fairviewwineandcheese we headed next door to @goatshedrestaurant for a late lunch.I had the special of the day, the lamb shank. It was delicious and fell off the bone. Wife had the sirloin, also delicious and the portion sizes are large, I had to help her finish it.Service and meals all excellent.

Such an amazing time at the Goatshed. A big shout out to our wonderful and kind waitress, Chantell! Food was great - I highly recommend ordering some Fairview wine, a cheese platter, and their ‘to-die for’ cheesecake #bestcheesecakei’veeverhad. A lovely place for a family outing!

We went for the Harvest table lunch. The starters were terrible.. Bread, bread, sweet bread and some gunky cold brie and mushrooms on some stale bread. Very disappointing.Then came the main courses.. Wow.. What a difference. The chicken was super tasty (albeit incredibly salty), the sirloin perfectly cooked, the salad was crisp and fresh and the roast veggies were delicious. The absolute STAR of the whole meal was the trout. I could have eaten 10 times the amount that I got (1 side shared between 4 of us).Then the dessert/cheeses were somewhat disappointing again. Two miserly pieces of cheese (don't you guys make some of the best cheeses in the hood? Show them off! Don't hide them under more stale bread man) and some chutney. The chocolate was yum. Wines flowed freely, can't complain about that. And service was friendly and efficient.. Great jobI'll come back just for that trout and hope for a slightly bigger portion next time...

In All Fairness, the excellent Food and Superb Friendly Staff at this Popular Establishment deserves 10 Stars. The Menu is Basic, however the Food is absolutely delicious. The portions are good and filling. We had their pizza with artichokes, caramelized onions and goats cheese, it is up there with the best of the best. Moses, our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, working under the current circumstances. Fairview is by far of the best!

Make a reservation to avoid disappointment as the place gets super busy. Food was really nice. I had the duck pate platter. Husband had sirloin steak and chips. Staff and management was really nice and made the experience even better - above and beyond the wonderful tastes!

I was looking for a decent cup of coffee on Sunday morning and decided on the Goat shed. They did not disappoint. Our hostess seated us and the efficient waiting staff whipped out menus and made us feel welcome. It was a bit cold outside but the restaurant had a cozy warm feeling. Our order arrived promptly and it was a decent cup of coffee. Prices are very reasonable.

We had a delicious lunch at the Goatshed! The crumbled chicken with spinach was absolutely delicious and a meal I would return for! The cheesecake was rich and dense. Everything you need from a baked cheesecake that is made with some goats cheese. A delicious experience!

Amazing breakfast, can’t recommend enough. Had the farm breakfast and it’s a nice portion of food to fill you up. Great atmosphere under the trees when sitting outside. Service is friendly. Great indoor places to sit too. The fresh bread is delicious. Lots of things to take picture of including a large number of goats. Nice outdoors place to take pictures next to trees, water features and flowers. You’ll see some squirrels too. Bring your camera!
