Today, I have come after many moons back to parkrun. It was a very pleasant way to start my day with lots of wonderful friendly people. It's really inspiring to see so many people taking part in this parkrun. What really spice up encouragement is to see a lot of folks running. I'm not very fit and when these folks pass me, it gives me the spirit of encouragement, if they can, why can't I?Congratulations to those who reached milestones of 300; 200;108 and 50 parkruns today. Well done to all took part today. Thank you to all volunteers, marshalls, timekeepers, water attenders and other assistants who also plays a vital role in event.Now when I was at the Pearl parking pay station. I initially thought 0 to 1 hour would be free, but it 0 to 45min. I was was just 55 minutes. Nevertheless, I only a R100, note which does not apply to this machine. So I advised by Parker runner behind me that I could use a card to pay. So tried my card but machine rejected it. By now they were about 5 to 6 people all parkrunners in the queue behind me but no had change for R100.But guess what, these wonderful spirited parkrunners volunteered to give me their change from their R20 after they paid to make up my R12 to pay.A big thank you all those parkrunners who volunteered to assisted me. The R12 is a not much value but this is a true spirit of Ubuntu, showing caring for people is priceless. God bless.

Was great a bit busy and narrow to start the actual run however probably one of the most exciting, spectacular views, surroundings and awesome people around you. Thank you to the volunteers again and for the finish line refreshments

The route was difficult and easy to follow since I was late

Well organised run on the uMhlanga Boardwalk. Friendly and cheerful volunteers. A great Saturday morning outing for the whole family.

Beautiful atmosphere, and it is a very smooth run. Usually starts near the whale bone pier, 2.5Km promenade towards nature trail, loops and 2.5Km back on the same route and back to the start point. Alot of runners attend and alot of volunteers pitch up to make sure it happens. The route is a little narrow for some parts. Amazing ocean view run, lots of Cafe's and stores on route. You go to the parkrun website to register for free.Held weekly on Saturday's at 8am.
