Kindest most efficient staff. The Vet is very friendly and conversational. During my initial visit, my one puppy was very scared and pooped a little bit which I was slightly embarrassed about. The Vet reassured me that it's okay and made me both me and my fur baby feel okay. I highly recommend this Clinic if you live in the Fourways/Broadacres/Chartwell area.

Receptionist is very moody and short with customers. Had a situation where she told me not to have animals because I couldn't afford their services (7 chickens and 1 dog) - all rescues and all on pet insurance. After I brought in one of my babies in and they saw the animal briefly, then sent us home with no diagnosis and told us to come back the next morning to see the same vet... it suspiciously seems like they just draining the petsurance since they ran no tests and gave zero indication of what's going on. While I was there another customer called in and took some time (few seconds) to give their details. This annoyed her and she openly rolled her eyes and waved her hands around, as if this person was wasting her time - she clearly doesn't realise she's been paid to be a Receptionist ... and sommer doing all this bad attitude stuff while I was standing right there! Would not use them again in future.

Abysmal service. Twice misread my cats essential information with the results of the practice insisting in them having to have more unnecessary (& expensive) rabies vaccinations in order to travel, (as verified by the issuing vets in the UK). This beligerent insistence added three months of unnecessary waiting time and associated costs in order to travel with my pets internationally. Rude and extremely arrogant receptionist on several occasions. I would be suing them if I had the resources. The least I can do is warn others to Avoid this company at all costs.

Horrible horrible experience. That young doctor knows absolutely nothing i spent my money there for nothing, only for her to run expensive tests and tell me nothing is wrong with my cat. I went to another vet and they found an issue! Im still annoyed even to this day I almost lost my cat

I've taken all my dogs to Chartwell Vet for the last 20+ years. All the vets are great, the front ladies are professional and handle the busy front area well. My dogs have even boarded there as one of them needs daily medication and I can go on holiday knowing my fur children are well cared for. I can highly recommend them..

Best Vet around always helpful, the staff are super pleasant. The place has more than adequate parking. They do have an appointment system, so if it is not an emergency it is advisable to make a booking.
