what an AMAZING day spent at the lovely Woodlands Spa.honestly understand exactly why this spa is so highly rated and award winning!!The staff was so friendly and welcoming. and the FOOD, even though very healthy choices, exceeded my expectations. honestly fantastic!we did the JOY package, and was sooo relaxing, pressure was exactly what i wanted and honestly cannot wait to go back for a FULL day spoils!honestly cannot recommend this spa enough!

Love the space. The treatments and the food. Really relaxing environment with soothing sounds of the river. The facilities are great. If you need to get away from the noise for a touch of nature healing this place is the one. Great for couples and friends

Had an incredible morning here. Great massage and delicious lunch. Great escape for a Friday morning. The only thing I would suggest to take it to the next level is maybe a bit more communication in regards to how the morning will run and what to expect. Felt a bit lost at times not knowing what was next.

Such a wonderful retreat getaway.Tasty food (I can recommend the oatmeal flapjacks and the strifry) and a relaxing atmosphere. You can hear and see the river from all the treatment rooms, and the therapists are all amazing.A special mention for Dorah at reception, as well as Mary and Thobile at the café for being so friendly and welcoming.I spent 2 nights in the Nourish room of the retreat house - highly recommend for a solo getaway, if you're looking for a couples retreat I recommend booking the Love room ;) it's not 5 star accommodation BUT the beds are super comfy, and the atmosphere is peaceful, so exactly what you're looking for when retreating away from the buzz of being in town.There is a lot on offer, apart from treatments (I recommend the hot stone massage) you can also do a yoga class overlooking the river.Peace and tranquility are the order of the day at Woodlands.I hope to be back soon!

I’ve always recommended this spa and yesterday a friend and I were treated to some pampering.Firstly on arrival, on a cold day, we asked for a hot drink was told we had to opt for a cold drink because you had just had loadshedding so the machine was booting up. We were sent to the hydrotherapy session, the water was warm again we were told it couldn’t be hot because of loadshedding.Massages were great. Only issue is that you have one shower so I had to wait for my friend to shower first. Then she got a pedi and mani, what a shocker! This was done on the massage bed, with the UV light put on her tummy, there wasn’t enough lighting in the room so you can imagine what the application looks like! Not great

What an incredible experience this has been. Woodlands health spa has created a perfect relaxing setting and the attention to detail adds to a wonderful tranquil experience.My massage and facial were absolutely perfect!! Maria (the therapist) has phenomenal hands! her massage transported me to another dimension of relaxation. I’ve been to a lot of spa’s and this is definitely one of my Top 3 spa experiences!

We eagerly booked our couple’s connect halfday package. We were slightly shocked to be informed they booked us for a 60 min massage, luckily the actual package booked was confirmed per email and they made a plan to squeeze us in for the half day. Unfortunately our 30 min hydro session did not even last 15 minutes before we were asked to leave, the patron was informed it was not nearly 30min but she disagreed. We ordered our food before we went for our hydro session and had to wait an additional 40 minutes before deciding we will rather leave and eat elsewhere. The 3.5hours package didn’t even reach a 2.5 hour mark. I really wished to have experienced the service I have read about on the reviews and even though the manager called to offer us vouchers for a lunch and hydro sessions we politely declined, we don’t want to return to a place where our experience was unpleasant instead of the relaxation we were promised.

I had a very lovely experience here with my friends. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. The food presentation was great and it tasted really good. We did only 2 types of treatments and I am already thinking of going back and experience a full day in this beautiful and peaceful space.
