We made an online booking to renew passports and apply for a new passport, Thulile Nhlengethwa was super efficient, no wasting time or dragging feet. Did what she needed to do,in and out of her depth in a few minutes. Well done, we need more people like you in government departments. The lady who processed it though, took a little longer. However,just glad it's done and over with...for now.

I did my id application today at Newcastle branch, my online booking was for 1 to 2 pm but system was offline. The supervisor I think was Thulile & the guy that processed was Thulani, they were super helpful, staff even went the extra mile to help everyone well after 6 pm. Please Minister Motsaledi help ur staff with a more efficient computer system/program. Thanks guys

Pathetic service, especially the security whose surname is Mr Zulu with an attitude. Just know you got to run around for days before you get the assistance. It’s worse especially since Mr Sithebe who is always willing to assist is not on duty.

The service is pathetic. Waiting for 2 hours to collect an ID card. No communication what so ever. The staff is chit-chatting to each other. The staff acts like they doing us a favor....can they be considerate that some people have to go to work before they decide on chatting about their private lives or being slow.

My husband, daughter and I went to home affairs to apply for the smart IDs, and then went in today to pick up. Even though the lines were long, with their systems going offline, I must say Brian, the manager , was very helpful and calm. I don't know how you are calm, but thank you.
