Fruit and veg always fresh and top quality. Feels like you are family when in the shop, also always clean and tidy

I do not go there a lot. Their payment system of not wanting to take card transaction below a certain amount and charging extra when a card transaction is accepted is not in the best interest of the client. They do have a wide variety of affordable fresh produce and other products. Parking is iinconveniet. Very popular shop in town but I like one stop shopping at 1 store.

Their fresh farm produce is top quality, the beef mince and full cream plain yoghurt is really good. The queues can be long if its busy

Just the best place ever for amazingly well priced fruit, veg, fish, yogurt, nuts, honey....you name it. And such friendly staff. My new regular spot to shop.

Every time I shop at Bloubakkie I am shocked by the unprofessional and inefficient service I receive. Had a horrible experience with one of the younger looking managers scanning my items and commenting on every purchase I made. He tried to force sell other products to me and proceeded to discuss every purchase I made out loud for the entire shop to hear. The shop is too small and crowded with no flow and customers keep bumping into each other. The floor isn’t level making it extremely difficult to push the old trolleys they provide. The old school cash registers are very frustrating as they’ve often overcharged me due to the manual system they use to ring up items. Furthermore their fridges and freezers do not work during loadshedding which is dangerous for the amount of meat and dairy products they sell. This is really a pity as I love supporting small family owned businesses and I love their farm-to-table approach.
