I was the most comfortable at this place. The staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming & made my stay even more comfortable, I was in a mix dormitory & compared to other dorms, I felt safe here and even felt like my things were safe.They were able to accommodate me at the last minute. Thank you Tube and Axe!The on-site restaurant, has very reasonable prices

Lost a star on service.Bar service and our barman were first class. As were drinks.The lasagne was good. BUT kept frozen and their estimate of time to table was WAY off. A good 20 min after the 2nd reassurance that it was almost ready". 1/3 of our party had to leave before food arrived."

Friendly staff and good food. The bed was very comfy and the sheets were clean. The tv with Netflix was definitely a plus. The room was clean, but the bathrooms are a bit outdated. You have a nice seating area before your room. The hostel itself has a nice pool and outdoor seating area. Almost every evening they light a bonfire and everyone gathers around. The food was really good and all made with fresh ingredients.

The staff are super friendly and always willing to go out of their way to assist where they can, great service and the accommodation is very comfortable with the nature setting as well as the touch of modern living.

A fantastic place to stay. The rooms are well equipped, and so comfortable. Our room was close to the action but still quiet and tucked away into the foliage. The pool and hot tubs are awesome and there is a great jungle gym for the kids. The staff were fantastic too, efficient and friendly. We will be back!

Cozy small rooms. Community friendly atmosphere. They have pool table, foozball table and a fire pit that they light every night.Good staff. Owner was a good chat.The accommodation was previously for backpacker's lodging.I do recommend this place.The kitchen is not halal but they do accommodate for halal.

Perfect place for a peaceful stay in the Tsitsikamma area. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. Each has a Private patio. The restaurant is onsite and very convenient. There is a pool and a hot tub. Is were there for business so could not stay longer although I would like to stay longer .

Tube n Axe is located close to the centre of Stormsrivier, however the service and room quality needs some improvement.The Glamping rooms need maintenance as some aspects such as door handles, leaks and plumbing had issues when we were there. The Glamping rooms are also all right next to the camping ablution facilities and had a permanent stench from overflowing toilets and sewage.The service was hot and cold. Some people are very new and didn't really know what is going on. They couldn't even show us where our rooms were. We had to find it ourselves. Other times service was good when more experienced staff were involved.Overall it was OK. There is a vibe near the bar and bonfire. They just need to sort out some issues with some rooms and staff service. I would recommend staying in the built rooms if you want to stay here.

The place looks good outsideThe rooms are too small together with the bathrooms and they maintance. We had to leave the place without taking shower because there was no water. What a horrible experience we had.
