Shun De Restaurant - Time Square

The decor inside is absolutely breathtaking, the menu however is very big and at times could be confusing if you are not a native Chinese customer, the other thing I picked up is the language barrier, it's a good thing to have a pure Chinese food experience but it's whole different thing when your waiter has difficulty understanding you at all. Nonetheless, the food is excellent and the seating is very comfortable, I would have added some sofas to the mix given thier top class decor but the seats are good enough, the ambiance is very relaxing.

Rude chinese waitress kept rolling her eyes and was murmuring, initially took us to a table that had not been cleaned.Another waitress brought our meal but didnt even know the name of the meal she brought had to go back ask.Brought main meal before starters.Service is zeroTasty food and generous portion though.

Worth every cent. Food is delicious. Service is on point. Food came out flying. Freshly made.

This is a best chinese restaurant! There is a same building to casino.

Had a father-daughter date night here. Enjoyed the Dim sum.My dad tried the crispy beef - was amazing.Pricey, but authentic Chinese food!

This is the best Chinese food I ever had. I took off one star for the service. Not to hot. The chinese lady that took the order knew everything on the menus and was great, but unfortunately the various waitresses was not very pleasant or friendly. The food also came out in dribs and drabs that was uncomfortable. Some guests got their food away before the other guests at the table and some were finished before the other guests food even came out. Still, the food was amazing, but need to be patient.

Service was shocking! cannot comment on food as I never received any, waited over an hour for it, just to be told they would start cooking it now. So naturally I cancelled my order.

I don't think these people know how to run a restaurant! We arrived for dinner, nobody at reception, only an empty chair with a bean bag pink pig on it. Walked into the restaurant and we told a woman that we had a dinner reservation, no names checked, not nothing. Seated at a huge table (12+ seater), a menu was thrown at us (something like 20 pages plastic laminated menu, so huge that one can get lost into it and since 'service' seems to be a non-existing Mandarin word, don't even bother to ask what is what as there is no ways any waiter knows this extensive menu) and for the following 35 minutes we did not see a soul, no drink order taken no nothing. Meantime other guests were coming and going, all of them lost as nobody was at reception (the restaurant was not even full). So we left, slalom through a family lost in the restaurant asking us 'what is going on, are you leaving?'. At the back of the restaurant we only seen ONE waitress and that was about it. The table next to us a loud crowd complaining about the level of service with a pile of empty dishes (starter and main course) on the table. They could not find a soul either. So we walked out, at reception another couple asking 'where is everyone', still an empty chair and the pink beanbag pig on the chair.Horrible place, no atmosphere, plastic menu, zero service...a takaway place rather than a restaurant. Sun International and the next door Times Square Hotel equally chaos. The entire Times Square is over rated. Stay away from this horrible sh'...hole.Please don't send me a copy/paste apology email, not interested, just want to forget everything.

I went here for dinner with my boyfriend. I'm vegetarian. He isn't. We ordered a portion of veg spring rolls and chicken. I asked the owner if it was fried separately, and he said yes. Finally, our rolls arrived. The waitress tell us if its meat or veg, nor did she answer us. She left the plate and walked away. Another brought the second batch and did the same. Then they returned and said both were veg... so obviously, veg and meat are not made separately with this confusion being possible, secondly the service was so poor and unfriendly.Based on the money you pay, the service and food quality are not good. Would NOT recommend for a vegetarian.

Great atmosphere. Basically no service after 25 minutes of waiting. As I walked out a employee mentioned 时间很巴闭啊”Actually yes. My time is valuable. Honestly rather rude. For the amount of customers you guys have on a month end day perhaps you shouldn't be this rude. Anyways. Not recommending this restaurant considering there's so much other alternatives."
