Can't use the grounds for running but you can run up the hill and downhill.

Verulam Recreational Grounds
The Verulam Recreation Grounds is a well maintained sports facility in Verulam. It has a soccer field with stadium seating and rest rooms. It also has a cricket Field with limited covered seating, change rooms and rest rooms. There is 24 hour security. The facility is open to the public. The facility has training lights as well as floodlights for night games.

Verulam has fantastic facilities, but poor maintenance. The soccer field is very dangerous to play on, a player could injure themselves whilst running on the field.

The soccer ground needs to be resurfaced as it currently has lots of uneven surfaces which has caused injuries when playing.This used to be a place where everyone could come an play sport, take a walk or cycle around the ground but Rodgers the guy from ethekwini had instructed the guards to not allow people to cycle around the ground because bicycles are classified as vehicles and damage the surface.Since the April 2022 floods, the cricket side of the ground have not been repaired. Its pathetic to say the least.
