Yes, this is what client service looks like. I booked online, got in 5 min before my appointment, got a warm greeting from the reception lady, filled out my forum with medical details, then went in for my eye test. Xolani did the test, he was great! I felt looked after and comfortable. When I got out, there was a lady ready to help me find my new frames. She was such a pleasure to talk to, so helpful and friendly. After we found my frame, she sat me down and explained exactly what was going to be in the quote, how we will handle it, from medical to extra costs.I am very impressed, seeing as it's a store"

I went to Specsavers Somerset West to buy and fit a new frame. The lady sent me to the Mall branch because she says she does not have a technician! Really?

I guess I'm just used to better service from Spec Savers. The first time I went there, I was told to wait. Just sit and wait. Which I did whilst other customers were helped that came in after me. So the experience didn't start well.I wanted to have my glasses remade exactly as I had them before (done at a spec savers in Pretoria). I was then called and asked to come in to have my measurements taken a week later which I did. I was not given a due date to know when my glasses will be ready, which I think is poor.I decided to call them since it has been over a week already and was told that glasses usually take 3 weeks to be done. Which wasn't the case in Pretoria, it was a week. So all of this is taking A MONTH (one week to fitting and then 3 weeks to make) to replace a pair of glasses. Had I gone to other optometrists and had my specs done there, I was advised it would take a week. Needless to say, I'll make other choices when I choose my next optom.

Service at the store was great. Follow up has been a bit of an issue (computer problems they say). I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was treated like royalty here. So much care and kindness. I cannot rate my experience highly enough. And the cherry on top was that I found the perfect frame for a price my medical aid would cover. Thank you Specsavers.

Excellent service. Took my prescribed glasses to them to them to replace the screw. Although it was not initially supplied by them they did it there and then free of charge. Thank you I know who I'll support next time I need new glasses!
